Isabella POV

Isabella sat in her study, her fingers steepled together as she listened to her spy's report.

"He has hired a new housekeeper," the spy said. "A young woman, no more than 40 years old. She is from a small village in the countryside."

Isabella nodded. "I see. "What else do you know about her?" she asked.

"She is very quiet," the spy said. "She keeps to herself mostly. But she does seem to be very good at her job."

Isabella nodded again. "I see."

Isabella's eyes widened in surprise when her spy told her about the housekeeper's daughter. She had not expected that the housekeeper would have a family, let alone a child who was sick.

Isabella thought for a moment, then smiled. She knew exactly how she could use this information to her advantage.

She knew that she had to do something about this. "Thank you for the information," she said to the spy. "I will take care of it."
