Dominique is watching her best friend on the ground practicing with her teammates in cheering. While on the other side, the basketball team is also getting ready and warming up for the upcoming sports league tomorrow.

"Dom! It's nice to see you here. I thought you're not going to come and watch me here." Pat went near her, pouting her lips at her.

Dom chuckles and rolls her eyes. She hated every time her best friend keeps on pouting her lips. Patricia is one of the cheerleaders, and many are having a crush on her just like Dom. Dom is some sort of nerd but she has also many suitors.

"I know, I just finished my artwork and headed out here." Dom replied to her with a bright smile on her face.

Pat and Dom are most likely some kinds of sisters. They both came from a wealthy family but Dom is wealthier than her.

"Aww, you're so smart. I'm so insecure." Pat said and giggled.

"Nah, there's nothing to be insecure at being too smart. You're so flexible also in dancing." Dom appreciated her.

Pat just shakes her head and chuckles. She knows that Dom is just telling her that for her to feel better than usual. When Pat saw Evan, the basketball team captain, she clears her throat and fixed her hair.

"Dom, do I look pretty?" she asked her with her eyes twinkling.

Dom smirks, she already knows that Pat likes Evan.

"Pat, you look so cute in your cheerleading outfit. And you look more pretty than never," she said to her.

Pat blushes and took a deep breath before facing Evan. Evan is catching his breath.

"Hi Pat and Dom!" he waves his hands at them.

Dom was extremely shocked; how does he know her. She just smiled at Evan while Pat is trying hard to look cuter in front of him. Dom just shakes her head while trying to hide her laugh.

"Hi, Evan! What's the fuss?" Pat asks him.

Evan smiles at them.

"Well, I came here to tell and ask you to come to my party tonight," Evan told her.

Pat's eyes widened, she loves it and she is going to attend his party. Dom just scoffs and didn't mind them. She just played with her phone and wear her headphone.

"Wow! I'd love to come. What theme is it? Am I going to wear my sexy dress on it?" Pat laughing, while asking Evan.

Evan finds her too much attractive and so funny. Evan just chuckles and shakes his head.

"It doesn't matter, as long as you look presentable. I need to go; I just came by to tell you that. I hope you're going to come." Evan winks at her, and started walking away from him.

When he is already far from them. Patricia starts shrieking and freaking out. She keeps on hiding her shouts and yells using her hands, to cover her mouth.

"Oh my God, Dom! did you just see that?! Evan Mclaine just invited me to his party tonight." she squealed while wiping her tears of joy.

She doesn't know, Dom is busy on her phone and she was wearing her headphone.

"Dom?" she calls her.

She turns her head around and she scoffed to see Dom, not paying attention to her. Patricia took a deep breath and took off Dom's headphones.

"Dominique Astrom! Are you listening to me!" she shouted into her ears.

Dom closed her eyes and covers her ears but Patricia's voice was too high.

"Patricia, what the heck!" she growled at her.

Patricia just raised her right eyebrow at her and rolled her eyes at her. Putting both hands on her waist while wiggling her eyebrows at her.

"I thought you are hearing me out. I keep on talking here and yet you're not listening." she said, angrily.

Dom just chuckles and shakes her head; well, she doesn't want to be disturbed and overhear some kind of private conversation and that's why.

"I'm sorry, you know I don't like overhearing private conversations. And I think you like that boy, right?" it was her turn to tease her.

Patricia's facial reaction went mild. She starts to blush; her face starts to turn into a tomato one. Dom clears her throat; she was waiting for her to answer her curiosity.

"Uhm Dom, you already know me." she said, shyly.

Dom chuckles and took a deep breath and sighs.

"Patricia, I already told you. You should know the man better first before falling in love." she said to her.

As being too smart, even falling in love, she knows everything about it which makes Patricia laugh at her opinions about it.

"Dom, you're overreacting. That's not love yet, I just had a crush on him." she giggles.

Dom rolls her eyes and tightened the tie of her hair.

"Ugh, whatever. It is just the same." she said, making Patricia scoffs.

"By the way, he asked me to come to his party tonight. And I want you to come with me. Please, no buts and no saying "no"!" Patricia said to her.

Dom's eyes widened. She isn't fond and not used at parties or whatsoever. She is just used in school and their house.

"Pat, I have many assignments to do tonight." she said.

Patricia knows that she is just making excuses. She scoffs and puts her both palms in front of Dom, making her stop talking.

"uh-Huh! I know you're making any excuses again. Please, just this time. I promise you are going to enjoy it there. You should experience this kind of outdoor activity and you know that your mom wants you to come out of your room from time to time." Patricia said, while shrugging her shoulder at her.

Patricia and Dom's mother, they are also so close. They are both building a plan toward Dom, just to make her come out of her study room.

"Fine!" Dom groaned.

Finally, Patricia is so happy that she made her best friend to come with her.
