Chapter six.

Theodore stepped out of his car, he buttoned his suit jacket before walking into the building, the people around, his workers all bowed at the sight of him.

He looked rather ravishing, his hair was combed backwards leaving some strands to fall on his forehead. On him was a three piece custom made Italian tux which was custom made especially for him.

Black polished shoes and on his wrist, a gold watch.

He took his own private elevator to the top floor, stepping out. His assistant got up to greet him and he just nodded in return before opening the  door and stepping into his office.

He sat down, a sigh escaped his lips, everything that has been happening were literally unplanned and out of his control. Marriage? Never would he have thought that he was going to get married and worst of all an arranged marriage with someone he didn't even know anything about.

She's probably part of them, a person who just set herself up with aunt so she could get married to him, those kinds of women are the type he hates in this world and here he was married to one, admist all the chaos he knew one this for sure, they were not ordinary couples, he would Never see her as his wife talk less of having a normal relationship with her. If she was a gold digger with ill plan then he would make her life miserable.

Just then the door opened revealing a guy, he was dressed in brown trouser and white shirt, over his clothes was a long brown coat. His blonde slightly curly hair was styled messy. He was handsome, his blonde hair, blue eyes giving him a distinct look.

He spread his arms wide, a smile on his face.

"Theo my man, I'm finally back." He said walking towards the table, he sat down opposite him. Theodore sighed, he has too many problems to solve and now Manson is back.

Mason—was his bestfriend and sort of like a second CEO, they both worked together to get to where they were. His father was also a rich business tycoon.

Theodore leaned backwards, relaxing his full weight on the chair. "Hey, you're back."

He said calmly picking up a paper from the table and reading it.

Mason smile dropped. "Hey, you're back? Is that all?  I've been away in Switzerland for about three weeks and this is the way you react?"

"What do you want me to do, prepare a welcome party?" Theodore asked, nonchalcy lacing in his vooce, his eyes still not leaving what he was reading.

"That would have been nice but what was I expecting." Mason muttered, Theodore just glanced at him before dropping the paper.

"Did anything happen in Switzerland?" He asked and Mason snapped his fingers.

"Now you're speaking my language, well... Nothing much actually, I met with a few business people and..." He paused. Theodore raised a brow wondering why he stopped.

"Hey! I heard you got married, I'm deeply hurt you know, getting married while I was away, I didn't get to witness that moment... You're not a good friend." Mason nagged.

Theo sighed, right now he didn't want to mention anything about the marriage.. "Well it all happened last minutes that's why, Aunt wanted me to get married before grandpa leaves the states."

Manson wheeled his chair to where Theodore was, he didn't fail to notice the voice change when he mentioned marriage.

"So how does it feel to get married? I need to know from the beginning." He said.

"There's nothing much, grandpa's sickness was aggravating and he needed to get the treatment in China, so he wanted me to get married before then. Aunt found a girl and I was forced to get married." Theodore said it all in one breath, he himself couldn't believe that he was married. Marriage is supposed to be a happy moment but why does he fell like crap?

A sigh escaped Mason's lips, he knew how well Theodore hated the idea of getting married and also being in the same breathing space with a woman who he knows nothing about and now an arranged marriage—this was not good for him at all.

"So how do you feel?" He asked.

"You know damn well how I feel right now." Theodore replied, a hint of anger in his voice, just then his assistant walked in, she greeted the two men before placing two cups of coffee each for them, she turned around and left.

"Listen Theo, do you know who she is? Have you tried talking to her, she might not be what you consider her to be." Mason said.

"I don't care, it's a sham marriage after all, I just agreed for grandpa's sake and nothing more." He replied.

"You can't just get married like that, marriage is a big game in one's life, you can't just marry someone and dump her at home. What about her? How does she feel, you know women are quite sensitive." Mason said, he took a sip out of his coffee.

Theodore shook his head, he pressed a little botton on the table. "Come in."

He turned to Mason. "It's good to have you back, enough with the chit-chat, we have a company to run."

He simply relaxes his back and squinted his eyes at Theodore. "You always loose me with that, anyways, we're not escaping this topic."

His assistant, walked in and the activity of the day began. Theodore was a public figure, famous for not only his good looks but also his brain and success. His company offered the best quality of things and he handles his business with care. Knight enterprise was the top leading company in the states. Everyone could testify to it, he was known perfect and named the youngest CEO in his twenties.

  • The Billionare's Wife   Can I ever move on?

Chapter Five“I picked this room especially for you. I hope it is to your liking. Here’s a little gift for you. Love, May.”I smiled as I read the note. Opening the small box beside it, I found a brand-new phone nestled inside. My heart warmed. Aunt May had truly thought of everything. I set the phone aside for later, right now, all I wanted was some sleep. I lay down on the soft bed, pulling the covers over me. My heartbeat slowed, a mix of emotions swirling inside me, but none of them sadness.I was living in a mansion. I could eat whatever I wanted, do whatever I pleased. Despite the coldness from Theodore, this place offered something I hadn’t had in a long time—freedom. If he wanted me to stay away, I would. No problem. I was used to surviving on my own.It didn’t take long before sleep embraced me.I woke up around 6:00 a.m., stretching as I sat up. It was the best sleep I’d had in ten years. I climbed out of bed and straightened the sheets before heading into the bathroom—my se

  • The Billionare's Wife   Unwanted feeling

Chapter FourThe makeup artist quietly left the room, leaving just the two of us. He looked away almost immediately, his eyes landing on the velvet box that held the wedding ring. A scoff escaped his lips.“So, you're the girl Aunt May wants me to get married to,” he said. His deep voice resonated through the room, rich and smooth, dangerously charming, the kind that could make someone fall in love just by listening. He took slow, measured steps toward me, stopping only a few inches away.“This would’ve been nice… if I actually wanted to get married,” he added coldly.I frowned, unsure of what he meant by that. Before I could respond, he reached out, his gloved hand gently but firmly grasping my jaw, tilting my head up until my eyes met his. His piercing grey eyes locked onto mine. Up close, he looked even more intimidating. His face was unreadable, emotionless, and he held himself with a calm yet terrifying composure. The scent of his cologne filled the room—intense, almost suffocati

  • The Billionare's Wife   Him

Chapter ThreeAunt May’s POVIn the living room, Theodore was already seated—calm and composed, just as always. He was on his phone, his expression unreadable. The moment he heard my footsteps, he raised his head to look at me.“Hi, Theo. How have you been?” I asked with a warm smile, settling down beside him.“Good,” he replied with a simple nod.“Um, well… sorry to disturb you, but I have something really important to discuss,” I began, my tone serious. “Grandpa is sick. He has been for a while now, and I need to take him back to England for treatment. I might be gone for a long time.”He set his phone aside and gave me his full attention. “He didn’t tell me anything. Is he going to be okay?” Theodore asked, his deep voice calm, yet tinged with concern.“I don’t know yet. That’s why I need to go see him. But before I leave, he left a message for you. He really wants to see you married, Theo. He says if there’s one thing he wants before he leaves this world, it’s to see you with some

  • The Billionare's Wife   Marry my son

Chapter TwoLayla's POVI slowly opened my eyes to find myself in a different environment. The room I was in was painted a soft shade of pink, calming and pleasant. It was nice and spacious, and the bed I lay on was so soft and comfortable it felt like I was sinking into clouds.I sat up, blinking at the unfamiliar surroundings. I was no longer wearing the drenched clothes from the night before. Instead, I had on a white long-sleeved dress that felt fresh and clean. I swung my legs off the bed and stood up, wobbling a little. There was a mini mirror on the vanity table in the corner. I walked over and took a good look at myself.I looked different. My skin wasn’t as pale as before. My face looked cleaner, softer, more alive. It was as though a tiny piece of the old me—the real me had returned. I stepped out of the room and walked down the stairs, my bare feet making soft sounds against the polished floor. The house was beautiful—luxurious without being overwhelming. Not too large, bu
