Tyler's POV

It couldn't be. How was Quinn seated behind the huge desk of the office of the CEO.

Was I missing something ?

" Good morning sir" my voice came out clearly hiding any form of suspicion. Thank goodness I was wearing glasses and I dyed my hair black last night . Although I did it because I hate answering questions about what's the actual colour of my hair.

"Sit"

He ignored my greeting and ordered. A cold hearted bastard as usual.

If only he knew what he did with me. How he made me moan nonstop, driving his thick long length in and out of me. I quickly pushed the thought back. It would be rude to spot a boner at an interview . And he'll probably murder me on the spot if he ever finds out I was the one. He hated me right from school. And he probably won't remember I was the kid from before.

I sat down on one of the extremely comfortable couches in the office, my heart racing nonstop but I wasn't going to let it show. The office was cold but hot at the same time.

Quin stood up and walked around his large desk, exposing or rather showing off his expensive outfit.

"Have you done this before?"

"Excuse me?" I blurted out but immediately covered it with a quick " I'm sorry. No I haven't."

He walked closer and sat on the couch obviously meant for him.

"How long do you plan on working here?" His piercing sea blue eyes were probably drilling invisible holes through my head.

"For as long as you will have me."

Shit that sounded weird but I'll go with it either way.

"Are you in a relationship?"

Was this supposed to be part of an interview question?

 “No sir” I answered anyway.

He looked and me for a moment nodded then ordered, "You can take your leave, I'll have my secretary contact you."

I looked at him with an obviously confused expression. But swallowed whatever was about to leave my mouth.

"Thank you sir." I said and stood up.

"Mr McKenzie." I heard Quin's voice

I turned to look at him.

"Call me Mr McKenzie."

"Oh. Yes, Mr Mackenzie." I repeated after him. And with that I was out of his office.

Outside the office, I nodded briefly at the secretary and gave a small smile as I walked straight to the elevator.

The moment the elevator door closed, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

Everything about this new job was giving me mixed feelings. I took a cab back to my apartment. Something else kept bothering me .

Did he forget all about me?

I meant the me he bullied in school. Of course he would. I was nothing but a play thing that satisfied his veil pride and ego.

I needed to call Cassie.

But another call came in instead.

"MOM"

This woman is after my happiness. I hate her for it but she's my mother.

I picked up and put the phone on speaker.

"I know you weren't planning on picking up my call. After all I've done for you."

She's the worst kind of mother anybody could ever ask for. A mother who pleases her boyfriends by letting them have their way with her son.

"What do you want from me now?" My voice sounded obviously irritated. Because I was irritated by her.

"I'm at the police station, I need you to come bail me."

I sighed, "What did you do this time?"

"That is no way to talk to your mother, you ungrateful fruit of my womb."

"Fine if you won't tell me, then call your boyfriends to come bail you."

I was about to end the call when she said it.

"I couldn't pay for my drink." She was so shameless. Why would a mother be that shameless?

"Fine , I'm on my way."

I ended the call.

I put on something comfy and headed to the station. When I got there I spotted my mom talking and laughing with some guy in the stall. She looked comfortable.

Why are they even in the same category?

I thought male and female are separated.

I quickly went to the desk where I made payment and bailed my mother.

"I'm here for Jessica Davis." I told the cop at the desk.

"Sign here." He pointed to a piece of paper, handing me a pen,"And here."

After signing I told the cop to delay her bail by an hour so I'll be home when she leaves the station.

By the time I got home I was tired , I made noodles and called the one person who wasn't asking for anything except for me to trust in them.

Cassie.

She picked up immediately.

"Hey sugar, What's up?"

"I've got happy news and sad news." I muttered.

"Hit me with the happy news first." She said,

"Ok. I got a job."

"Fuck yeah! And?"

"My boss is Quin." It sounded like a whisper.

"You're fucked man." The joy in her voice disappeared immediately.

"Yeah, I'm fucked." I muttered.

"Cheers up sugar, he doesn't know y'all tied the knot so you're safe" the cheer was back in her voice.

"Yeah." I said grimly

"My boss is calling, let's meet up tomorrow, okay?"

"Yeah."

And the line went dead silent.

Cassie and I hardly meet up. She's usually too busy and honestly, I think there's something going on between her and her boss.

I spent the rest of the evening going through the internet searching for everything I could find on Quin McKenzie. Before sleep consumed me.

Two days later I received another mail from Quin's secretary to resume work the following week.

A notification popped up, something about Quin and I couldn't resist.

I looked at the picture attached and read the headlines slowly with shaky hands. My heart beat spiked. Because I couldn't believe what I was reading.

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Epilogue

Four Years Later Tyler's POV Billie McKenzie Davis had her father’s eyes and her namesake’s smile. The Two year old was as mischievous as her Father, Quin. The moment she laughs or smiles you could see the younger version of Billie in a two year old. The first time Eleanor noticed the uncanny resemblance, she had gone very still and almost cried. I was sure she cried because a few seconds later she excused herself. Then she excused herself from the room for ten minutes and came back with her composure rebuilt and her eyes red around the edges. Nobody said anything about it. Billie was currently sitting in the middle of the living room floor surrounded by what appeared to be every toy she owned, arranged in a pattern that made sense only to her. She was narrating something under her breath with great seriousness, her small hands moving the blocks like they were characters in a story only she could hear. Cooper lay beside her with his chin on his paws, watching her with the devot

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Worth Every Fight

Quin's POVThe look on Tyler’s face got my attention immediately.Five months of marriage had taught me a lot of things about my husband. One of them was that Tyler only looked like that when something had either gone very wrong or very right. There was rarely any middle ground.I pushed away from the pool wall and swam toward him. He was standing at the edge with his phone in one hand, water still dripping from his hair and shoulders. His eyes were wide.“What happened?” I asked.Tyler looked up. Then he turned the phone around. At first I didn’t understand what I was seeing. A hand with a diamond ring. Then my brain caught up.I grabbed the phone. “What?”Tyler laughed. “Cassie.”The message at the top of the screen read:~SHE SAID YES!!!I blinked. Then I looked again. There was another picture. Mara on one knee while Cassie with both hands covering her mouth, probably crying. The third picture was somehow worse. Cassie had clearly been crying for several minutes. Her mascara was s

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Sex Checklist

Tyler's POVSo much for thinking my ass was going to take a break in Italy. The air smelled like salt and sun-warmed stone. Somewhere farther down the hillside I could hear someone laughing and a scooter engine buzzed past. None of it made Quin slow down.He backed me up against the stone railing. The cool edge pressed into the small of my back. His mouth found mine, hard and open, tongue sliding against mine like he was trying to crawl inside. I made a soft sound into the kiss. His hands gripped my hips tight enough to bruise, pulling me flush against him. I could already feel how hard he was.“Quin—”“Shh.” He bit my lower lip, then soothed it with his tongue. “Just feel it.”He spun me around so I was facing the ocean. One of his hands slid up my spine and pushed between my shoulder blades, bending me forward just enough. The other hand shoved my underwear down. The breeze hit my bare skin and made me shiver.Quin knelt down behind me spread my cheeks open and before I could say a

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Loved beyond Goodbye

Tyler's POVFive Months LaterBy the time we reached Italy, I was convinced my husband had secretly been training for this trip his entire life.We have visited eight different countries in 5 months of getting married. All for what? Just to tick every box of Quin's Dream countries to have sex. I was convinced I married a psycho. Most people spent years planning something like that. Quin had somehow managed to turn it into a five-month honeymoon without once looking stressed. I, meanwhile, had lost count of how many airports we’d walked through.“You’re staring at me.”Quin was sitting across from me on the balcony of our hotel overlooking the Amalfi Coast. The morning sun painted everything gold. The ocean stretched endlessly below us, bright and endless.“I’m trying to figure out how you’re still functioning.”He raised an eyebrow. “We landed yesterday.”“Exactly.”“You slept eleven hours.”“ you know damn well I earned those eleven hours.”A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    My Husband

Tyler's POVAfter the dancing and talking and moving around receiving congratulations over and over again, we made it back to our hotel room which was quiet and peaceful.I sat on the edge of the bed and looked at my hands. The ring was still there. This was all real.I had looked at it more times than I can remember during the day. During the ceremony and the dinner and the dancing and the goodbyes and the car ride here. Every time I looked at it, it surprised me slightly. Not because it was new, we had been wearing rings for a while now so that wasn't it. But today the ring meant something different than it had yesterday.Yesterday it had meant we were getting married, while today it meant we were.Quin came out of the bathroom. He had taken off his jacket somewhere between the door and here and his tie was loosened and his sleeves were rolled up. He looked exactly like himself, sexy in every way. The version of him that existed only when the day was done and there was nobody left t

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    To the Moon and Back

Tyler's POVOne week laterThe bachelor party was all Jake's idea.Which meant it was well organized, slightly chaotic in ways that felt intentional, and ended with four grown men sitting on the floor of a hotel suite at two in the morning eating room service and arguing about nothing important.Dylan had arranged the drinks. That was the part nobody had fully accounted for.Dylan approached cocktails the way he approached everything, with research and enthusiasm and a complete absence of half measures. By midnight we were already half wasted.Cooper and Atlas were at Dylan's apartment being watched by Dylan's neighbor who had been bribed with the promise of a home cooked meal.We had no such supervision. At some point someone suggested a toast and we toasted. Then someone suggested another toast and we toasted again. The specific content of the later toasts became increasingly abstract. At one point Jake stood up and said something about loyalty and the long version of it that I only

Tyler's pov "You ungrateful piece of shit,” my mom yelled through the phone. “After everything I’ve done for you, Tyler. I even decided to keep you instead of flushing you out when I had the opportunity to.” It was nothing new, but the story was always new. “I told you I don’t have that kind

Tyler's POV "Heir to the Makell Empire Allegedly got married to a man in Vegas" Below the headline was a picture of me wearing a mask and Quin standing opposite me putting a ring on my damn finger. • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    Drunken Mistake

Tyler's POV I prefer dream Quin to real Quin. Real Quin hated me and was most definitely straight. He kept fucking and hitting my prostrate, earning more screams from me. At some point he pulled the pillow from under me , flipped me over and held my ass to the air. I was soo close to the edge. I

  • The Billoniare's Fake Husband    In Bed with the Devil

Tyler's POV Quin and I didn't really play any drinking games. It was probably just his way of making me drink with him. I couldn't remember how we got to his room. Fuck. I drank too much. My eyes felt heavy, I could barely stand. I saw a figure moving towards me through my blurry vision. I rubb
