MasukTyler's POV
"Heir to the Makell Empire Allegedly got married to a man in Vegas" Below the headline was a picture of me wearing a mask and Quin standing opposite me putting a ring on my damn finger. Wait, why was I even panicking? It's not like anyone would recognise me. The picture was kinda blurry and besides I took the wedding certificate with me because it had my real name on it. Everything was basically against my happiness right now. After about three hours the door bell rang and Cassie walked in holding bottles of beer and a pizza box. God, I love her and how she knows exactly what I want. . Except she wasn't the only one. "Hello bitches." Kira's voice came in. Then there was Aron and Judy. "Is there a party I wasn't aware of?" I said looking at all my friends as they made themselves comfortable in my cramped up apartment. "We heard you're married, so we came to celebrate with our only married friend who didn't invite us to his wedding." Judy said in a calm but sarcastic kind of way. I looked at Cassie who was pretending to look at something on her phone. Her eyes met mine. "Oh come on." She grumbled. "I had to share with the guys." "And you couldn't tell me about it first?" I raised a brow. Oh come on darling. I know you wouldn't mind. And see." She waved her hand around " you don't." " Oh fuck you Cass." I moved to sit on the single grandpa couch. "Fortunately we don't work for the same team. So, go fuck yourself or rather your husband." She giggled at the last statement she made. We talked until late at night when everyone decided to take their leave. I rolled like a hundred times without being able to sleep. I couldn't get Quin out of my head. I hated him for messing with me. I hated him even more for being so good in bed. Just the thought of him and I was hard. Well my hand could go a long way. I stood up, got naked and lay back down on the bed. No need for lube. I just want to get this over with so I can sleep. I spat on my palm and started stroking myself with my eyes closed. I began to recall how Quin stretched me open with his thick length, The heat wheezing from him and him thrusting in and out of me, fucking me with no form of mercy. "Fuck! " I stroke faster, not once slowing down. The sound of our skin slapping filled my ear. I bit down in my lower lips as spurts of cum coated my chest. After giving myself a few minutes to catch my breath I picked up my shirt, cleaned myself up with it and tossed it back to the ground. Not long after I fell asleep like I wasn't begging for sleep earlier. Monday came faster than I wanted it to. At least my mother hasn't been bugging me with calls since her release, which was something. I got to the office on time using the subway. I couldn't afford to go broke before my job started. And I was saving up to clear my mother's debt of almost 15million dollars. And then there is the allowance I give her, which I've cut down to discourage the gambling habit. I felt a pang of shame remembering how I'd cum with the image of my new boss a few days back. I pushed the thought away quickly "This is Mr Quin's schedule for the week" Clair said handing me a n ash coloured tab. And then a cup of coffee. "Always remember his coffee." She leaned in a little then whispered "He can't seem to function without it." She smiled " Ok. Thank you" she winked in response and left me standing in front of the huge door. I think my heart beat spiked up. I inhaled then exhaled. And entered the office. His chair faces backwards making him face the glass window that reveals the beauty of the city. "Good morning Mr Mackenzie. Here's your coffee." He spinned around to face me. Gracing me with his very obviously breathtaking face. "Stop it!. I scolded myself mentally. I can't risk getting hard in front of him. I'm just reacting to him like this because of our previous encounter. He probably has a girlfriend or...a boyfriend. He picked up the coffee without a thank you. Arrogant much. He took a sip from the coffee and lifted his pair of piercing sea blue eyes to look at me. God I hate him. "What's for today?" He asked and went back to sipping his coffee and going through his phone. I quickly began to go through all his fixed activities for the day. "You have a meeting with the editorial team by 9am which is in 20 minutes. Also, you have a contract signing with the Blackwoods by 10am immediately after the editorial meeting." I kept reading . I looked up briefly to see that he looked uninterested but I continued anyway to the very last thing on his schedule. "Finally you have dinner with your parents by 7pm ." He was focused on his phone the whole time. I wanted to smash his head into the table until he bled to death. I hate him Soo much. The day went by slowly from meeting to meeting. Does he ever take a break ? I was exhausted. When it was time for him to have dinner with his father, he asked me to leave for the night. When I got home, I showered and got ready for bed. I heard the message notification sound from my phone. But not the phone I was expecting. I opened my bed side drawer and unlocked the phone. It was the phone I used only when I needed to get laid, I must have forgotten to turn it off. The message read "Dear husband, you think you can run from me? I'll find you." Oh shit!Tyler's POVThe zip tie had a breaking point.I knew it did because everything had a breaking point. That was the only thought I allowed myself to hold onto as I pressed my wrists against the corner of the table and pulled. The plastic bit into my skin immediately, sharp and insistent, sending a burning sensation up both arms that I breathed through and ignored.I pulled and held. I continued with determination. The angle was wrong. I adjusted, shifting my weight forward on the sofa and repositioning my wrists so the corner of the table caught the plastic at a different point. I could feel the slight give now, barely there but present, like the first hairline crack in something that was about to break properly.I pulled harder. The burn in my wrists intensified but I kept going.I was so focused on the table corner and the pressure that I almost missed the slight change in the sound from the hallway outside. Footsteps that had been moving in a regular pattern, back and forth went comp
Tyler's Pov My neck felt heavy. Like I had been carrying something really big on it.I slowly opened my eyes but was met with disappointment.I was still in Aiden's house. I was really hoping it was a bad dream. I had gotten tired from looking for what to use to cut the zip tie loose. I couldn't even remember falling asleep the previous night.I adjusted myself on the couch and tried to stretch, checking first to make sure Aiden hadn't returned to do anything sketchy while I was unconscious. The room looked exactly as it had the night before.I was alone. For now.I sat up slowly and took stock of my body. My neck still throbbed where I had been hit. My wrists were sore from the zip tie, the skin around it tender from the times I had pulled against it during the night. My back ached from sleeping on a sofa that was comfortable enough for sitting and considerably less comfortable for an entire night of restless half-sleep.Everything else was functional.I looked around the room again
Quin's POVI stood across from the townhouse for a long time.Long enough to map every window. Long enough to figure out about the lights and work out which rooms they were coming from. The curtains on the ground floor moved briefly. Someone was definitely home.I saw two guys that looked like security personnel walking out of the building and I quickly pretended to be a passerby. When I was sure they were gone I quickly went back to surveying the building.I checked for cameras first. There was one above the front door, angled to cover the main entrance and the immediate pavement in front of it. Standard residential setup. Nothing sophisticated. So I moved along the side of the street carefully, staying out of its direct line, and checked the side of the building from a distance. No cameras on the side wall. One at the back corner, but positioned to cover the rear garden rather than the street approach.I looked at the building for another minute.Something felt off. I couldn't locat
Quin's POVThe first address Jake sent me to was a commercial building on the east side of the city.It was a four storey structure that housed what appeared to be a series of offices connected to one of Aiden's investment fronts. The lights on the upper floors were still on when I arrived, which meant people were still working, which meant it wasn't the kind of place you brought someone you had taken off a street without their consent.I stood across from it for two minutes anyway. Then I walked the perimeter slowly, everywhere I could. But I found nothing that indicates he could have been brought here.I called Jake."The first address is clean," I said. "It's a working office. He's not here.""I figured that one was unlikely," Jake said. "I sent it because it was registered to the same shell company as the townhouse and I wanted you to have the full picture.""Next time give me the most likely first," I said."You said send all three.""Jake.""Moving on." I could hear him typing.
Tyler's POV I opened my eyes slowly and the first thing I noticed was the ugly ceiling . The colour was weird as hell. I stared at it for a long moment without moving, letting my brain catch up with the rest of me. The side of my neck ached. more like a deep persistent throb that started just below my left ear and radiated downward into my shoulder. I remembered the hand closing around my arm. The street lights blurring at the edges. Then I remembered Aiden's voice.I told you I'd be back.I tried to sit up. But then I realised my wrists were tied.I slowly brought my head down. My hands were in my lap, bound together at the wrists with something that felt like a zip tie. The moment I tested it, pulling my hands apart instinctively, it bit into my skin, sending the pain straight to my head. I tried my best to stay calm, inhaling and exhaling. Using every last strength in me to push the panic away. It was working but I didn't know how long it would last. The room was
Quin's POVAfter working, I picked up my phone only to realise I had spent more time than we agreed. It was forty minutes later, yet he wasn't back from his walk.I didn't think too much about it at first. Maybe he decided to add an extra ten minutes.I sent a quick text to Billie, to know how she's doing.Sup sis. Hope you're good?Just checking in.Then I decided to dial his number but it went to voicemail mail.We didn't fight or anything, which meant he wasn't trying to ignore my calls. so I should be able to reach him without effort.I put the phone down and picked it back up twice before I caught myself doing it and set it on the desk again.I walked to the window instead and looked out at the street below. People moving around like every normal day after after work.I told myself he had stopped somewhere. Lost track of time.I stood very still for a moment with the phone in my hand.Something was wrong.Tyler wasn't one to ignore calls. Especially mine. After about an hour of p
Tyler’s POV The moment I stepped out of Makell Holdings, I took a long breath of fresh air like I had just escaped a war zone. My head was still spinning from the conversation with Quin. Four months. Stay married to him for four months. The man had completely lost his mind. I shoved my hands int
Quin's POV For weeks ,I've been searching for the guy who I supposedly got married to. And lately from chatting with him and staring at his side view images he reminded me of my PA , so I decided to test him and see, by asking him if he had been to Vegas before. His reaction was weird but he immed
Tyler's POV I stared at the phone for way too long as I lay sprawled on my bed. "Wait a minute," I thought to myself, " the phone was a burner phone which means he can't track it. I could have some fun while I can. I know Cass would think I'm crazy." So I did. I sent him a text back. "Catch me
Quin's POV I made the worst mistake ever. Drinking and getting drunk was never my thing, not to talk of getting married to someone I don't know. He ran away with evidence of the matrimonial but lucky for him Jake sent me a picture of us that was posted on the internet, but his face was fuckin
