Spitfire had experienced this once. But it only lasted five minutes before Agent rushed in and gave him the sweet candy drops and a needle with some kind of calming drug. That five minutes had been terrifying. The prospect of managing this without his candy was more than just terrifying. Spitfire didn't even know if there was a word for that.
First, there were shakes and hot and cold spells with strange hallucinations. Next, the whole world would turn red and he would start scratching welts into his skin. Then the craving would start.
Agent explained it could be managed if Spitfire could find something strong enough to distract him and help him ride it out, but it would come back over and over again until there was no managing it. The candy, which only the evil no-fur had, would be the only thing to soothe him.
He couldn't worry about next time. He needed to have something right now. Something stronger than the pull of the candy.

This was getting old real quick for the Black-fur. Hades did not like feeling helpless. At least he had time to think. Hades was comfortable with darkness. Jinx was sore when he came around. He was surprised to discover he was in a warm bed. He was alarmed to discover there was an eight-foot-tall black and purple monster with numerous eyes and appendages and three mouths of giant teeth watching him sleep. The Orangelo sat bolt upright and mewed loudly like a frightened kit."Oh hell." The words came from all three mouths at once. "Hang on."The monster shifted to a black and purple Calico wearing a beaded vest and pants with the same beads on the side. The demon's tom form had fur-bleach tattoos in strange white scrolls up his arms."Are you what attacked me?" Jinx managed to calm down, though he was dubious of this demon for so many reasons."I didn't attack you," The demon in tom form argued. "I just spooked your magical deer pony things, which looking at them I wouldn't have guessed they would have reacted so badly to me. I forget sometimes that although I am a loving healer, I'm a pretty freaky demon."

He had a deep respect for the natural world and those no-furs, even though they had beaten him, didn't deserve that kind of end. Guru was stretched out as if staring at the nonexistent sky. Fast asleep and dreaming, the tom was exhausted after satisfying his no-fur's demands. Spitfire took his time considering the various things in the Black Devil's treasure trove. Oh, he pretty much knew what he was going to use. The pretending to consider his options was all for his own amusement and to add to Guru's growing distress. Teasing then using the sexy, submissive tom was the best way for Spitfire to show his feelings. The no-fur was overwhelmed but as bickering turned to heat and that turned to his fantasies in furred flesh, he had to admit that he was enamored.Running his hand over a few of the toys, he wondered if he could steal one, just one, to have a keepsake of the first time they played like this. Spitfire chided himself for thinking with such sentimentality but that big beautiful blonde tom was everything he never allowed himself to dream he could have.
