The air around Hades was thick with fog. Somewhere in the distance, a light shone but he could barely see it through the murkiness.
Shivering, he sat up and reached for Doll. His no-fur had been right next to him when they'd fallen asleep. But Hades couldn't find him anywhere. Hades reached out further into the gloom. He wasn't finding anything. No sleeping no-fur but even more than that, there was nothing.
He wasn't even sitting on a solid surface. There was just blank space for as far as his limbs could reach.
He started crawling, but Hades couldn't be sure that he was even moving. Nothing changed. The light didn't get any closer, the fog was the same no matter which way he looked.
"Doll!" Hades called out but his voice seemed to be swallowed up by the fog.

Gripping Doll tightly to his chest, Hades looked around for the source of the voice. It was familiar and yet not. "Whoever invented boats should be drug out in the street and shot," Jinx declared before he once again leaned over the side of the boat to vomit.The Orangelo was absolutely miserable. Between the non-stop rocking of the boat and the Chaos god energy sloshing around inside of him, he felt like he was going to vomit until he died.
