Dinner began and we were all given the option of salad and soup to start before the main course. I chose the soup and requested more wine which I drank quickly causing Sophia to whisper in my ear as she poured me another glass, “A little slower my sweet girl.” I nodded at her then felt the glare of the High Priestess and Sophia quickly whisked herself away back to standing surrounding our table. There were all my lovely fellow priestesses standing around me as if they were statues while we all ate. I hated it and tried to imagine what it would be like if they could sit here with us too. They deserved it far more than I and especially the High Priestess did. These women had protected me more than I knew and were just as trapped. With dinner complete, we made our way with the High Priestess’s instructions past the dining area and further back into the garden was a wide-open space full of flowers and candles to light us all but the candles weren’t complete needed as the moon shined down more clearly in this area than any other part of the property. There were chairs set up on both sides of a middle aisle for me to walk down and I stayed back waiting to be presented to everyone. I was terrified to walk down the aisle and wasn’t sure what to do but the Alpha had told me to approach and I knew I could not deny his command. Everyone was still standing now and smiling except the High Priestesses whose face was as red as Sarah's, the Red Priestess's hair at this point. She had tried a few more times to say something but the Alpha completely ignored her and smiled at the guests and me. As I walked it brought joy to my face to see so many of the priestesses' faces and all looked as though they were excited about the future. The air was cool and crips against my fur. I allowed my wolf to guide me and she was loving every minute of it. I had hoped we would talk at some point and but for now just feeling her emotions was enough. She was joyful, energetic, and much stronger. I followed closely behind the Alpha and Luna as we made our way into the woods where you could no longer see the White Priestesses’ home. So much had happened and I wasn’t even sure where to begin. We stepped onto the grass and several priestesses remained behind had robes offered to many with a screen to protect those who wanted to turn without being seen naked. I waited patiently for Laura to be by my side to help guide me as I was very nervous about how this would go. Margo came up in human form already in a robe with a bowl in her hand. “Kellina drink this it will help ease your transition back.” I did as she told me but truly wanted to thank Margo for all she had done. It had turned out even though she was one who typically took care of the High Priestess that it didn’t mean she was supportive of her. I lapped up the drink and it tasted sweet like strawberries. Laura was talking to the Alpha now it seemed in wolf form still and although I came close to listening in I wasn’t sure if I wanted to hear what was likely being said about me so I waited. Looking up into the High Priestess room that was a great majority of the second floor minus rooms for her main attendants.

I followed him to the same spot just a few nights before where we had met in the moonlight and he had told me he loved me. I knew I wasn’t going to hear it again and I walked slowly to a small private area prepared to hear what I’d been dreading. He looked sick and even though his tan skin couldn’t make it obvious he was pale and I knew he must think all of it was a mistake. It was my fault because I should have never met and agreed to spar with him in the first place and then the sparks happened. It had felt like a dream and now I was preparing to get to the darker part of the dream where it turned into a nightmare. He did not want me because I was nothing more than a cross-breed. He stopped and I took a few more steps. We stood there in silence and nobody wanted to speak. I should be respectful I thought to myself and make this easier for both of us.
