The day was way too long despite his best efforts of trying to relax or forget about Kellina stuck in that stupid house with that instance High Priestess. I hadn’t been able to talk to Laura as long as I’d wanted or gotten enough information to find out what was going on but then again I felt like Laura was trying to be fairly quiet on all of that. I meant what I vowed even though I saw Laura’s face when I said it she was in horror. I knew everyone’s worry that Kellina may not be my mate and I could just be having a strong connection with someone but I doubted that was the case. There was too much between us in such little time. I know she felt the electricity like I did because I could see it when we touched. At first, it was just exhilarating but now it was becoming more and more of an absolute need to be near her.
