Heaven, Laura, and I left the hospital after the alarm we'd set rung.

The people cheerfully greeted us, happy that yet another full moon was passed without the death of their Luna.

I was caught up with greeting them for almost an hour that I was afraid Ollen would once again disappear before I could catch on to him at the main pack house.

After I finally arrived at the main pack house, the first thing I did was ask if Ollen had returned.

To my surprise, I was told that he didn't leave the mai

  • The Blind Alpha's Mate.   Making plans.

"What did I miss?" Ollen asked. My head was still laid on his chest, his left hand buried deep in my hair, fingers playing with the strands."Not much..." I said and heard Ollen chuckle."No need to lie to me. I can take it." He commented.I leaned back a bit to look up at him. The bandage was fully removed. The pack might be healing, but we still had a long way to go. Which meant that our healing abilities were not that great yet. But I knew it would be just a matter of time until everything returned to the normal the pack knew before the curse.Heaven wanted to keep him in the hospital for a few more days, but that didn't mean the people of the pack couldn't come check on him right where he was.The entire day after he woke up, the hospital was busy with people coming and going, asking him how he was doing, praying for him and his health, wishing that he would be able to get back to his feet in no time.I didn't interfere. The people had been worried about him just as much as I had

  • The Blind Alpha's Mate.   He's finally awake.

The night I was told that Ollen woke up again was nearly two weeks after the last one. Heaven had once again forced me to leave the hospital and go to the main pack house."The people would love to have you for dinner..." She'd commented as she ushered me out the door.I wanted to stay behind and hold Ollen's hand. It felt like I would miss something important if I listened to Heaven and leave. Jenny had helped convincing me to go to the main pack house, and I had ended up going there and sharing dinner with a few of the warriors. My sister also made sure that I took a long shower, change into my night clothes and went to bed. She even stayed by my bed, insisting that she would be there until I fall asleep. It was an oddly sweet thing she had ever done for me, and I cherished it."I wish we were always close like this..." She'd whispered as she ran her fingers through my hair, reminding me at she was my older sister, someone that should have been at my corner growing up. I'd shot her

  • The Blind Alpha's Mate.   He'll wake up.

"Ollen... Can you hear me?" Heaven asked, and my heart jumped back into my chest when he let out a soft groan. "He's waking up." I whispered as if I was having a hard time believing it.Heaven grabbed his free hand."Squeeze my hand if you can hear me." She said.I kept my eyes on his hand and watched as he clenched his fingers as softly as he could.Heaven shot me a smile."That's good. That's very good." She declared, and all I wanted to do was cry out of relief. But I held it together and pulled Ollen's hand to my face.He didn't stay awake too long, quickly falling back to unconsciousness. I felt panic creep into my chest when his hands lost their strength and looked at Heaven."It's okay." She commented, once again shooting me her best smile. "He'll be fine. It's normal that he went to sleep again. The fact that he woke up is proof enough that he's healing. But he'll need more time to get up and speak to us like he used to."Her explanation did great to calm me down a little, bu

  • The Blind Alpha's Mate.   A brief moment.

I rushed into the hospital. Heaven, Markus, and Seth were right they said they would be keeping Ollen company in his room.Heaven frowned the second they saw me. "Didn't I tell you to go rest? Why are you back already?" She asked, crossing her arms over her chest.I looked at Seth, choosing to ignore Heaven's question so I could get straight to the matter at hand."Jenny is in trouble." I announced, and he immideately pushed himself to his feet. "She was hiding with her friend, but she just called to tell me that our mother found her. If she catches her..."Seth didn't let me finish, probably knowing what would happen if our mother caught Jenny. She will get dragged back to the pack and probably get mated off to Alpha Brian, our biggest enemy."Where is she now?" He asked."Hiding in a coffee shop. I told her to text me the address so you can go pick her up." I replied, and Seth didn't hesitate to run out of the room."Should he be going alone?" Heaven asked. There was no one other t

  • The Blind Alpha's Mate.   got your wish.

"When is he going to wake up?" I asked the same question for the fourth day in a row, but Heaven didn't have the answer I wanted and needed to hear."I don't know." She whispered, looking at me apologetically.A heavy sigh escaped my lips as I sat down on the edge of the bed.Worry tangled deep in my stomach. He hasn't stirred even once in four days. Heaven had out him on IV and checks on his every single chance she gets, but nothing has changed.Maybe I'm being too selfish for wanting him to wake up right away. He deserved to have some rest."Get as much rest as you need." I whispered, gently pressing my hand against his chest and leaning down to press a kiss against his cheek."You should get some rest, too." Heaven commented, stepping closer to place her hand on my shoulder."You haven't been giving yourself time at all. Go home, take a shower, eat some food, and sleep. We'll all be here watching after him for you." She added.I glanced at her with a weak smile."I'm scared somethi

  • The Blind Alpha's Mate.   Meant to be Mine.

"Heaven... We need to get him to Heaven." Mini commented, her voice cutting through the thick tension in the main woods.I couldn't think about anything else other than the wolf lying motionless in front of me. My mate."Markus is with them..." I heard Seth reply. "They're heading to the hospital as we speak."Sam didn't hesitate to pick up the wolf and throw him over his shoulder, turning towards the direction of the hospital, and ran as fast as he could.Seth limped after Sam, and Mini stayed behind to help me to my feet and lead me out of the woods. The previous Luna's followed me with their whispers until we exited the woods."Did they leave?" I asked as I looked around to see if any of our enemies were still around."They left the second your whereabout was discovered. That seemed to be their only objective, making sure that the curse did its thing and Ollen killed you." Mini replied. My forearm was heavily bleeding, and I was already feeling lightheaded. Laura and Vice were alr

  • The Blind Alpha's Mate.   The promise.

My blood ran cold. I stood there frozen, the words whispered by the voice echoing in my head.Kill him? Kill Ollen?"We understand that we ask of you is not something easy to do. But it is the only possible way to break the curse." The woman continued. "But if you want to break the curse, set us a

  • The Blind Alpha's Mate.   The two ways.

I stood there in shock.I was having a hard time believing what the two were saying. They were telling me that the whispers, all of them, belonged to the Lunas who were killed on their mating ceremony.Being killed was not enough. They couldn't rest in peace. They had to linger to this awful, curse

  • The Blind Alpha's Mate.   In this together.

I didn't return to my room after breakfast. I wished everyone had a good day and walked out of the main pack house. I wanted to walk around the pack and get to know people, learn about what they do, how they spend their day, and how I could start helping the land heal. The sun was bright, yet I fel

  • The Blind Alpha's Mate.   So natural.

I stared at the phone in my hands, silently watching until it stopped raining and the screen darkened, showing me nothing more than the reflection of my stuned face. Why the heck was she called me?Why after over a month of silence? The phone started buzzing again, startling the life out of me.Sh
