Chapter 33
A week later, Kieran notices there's been something different about Annaliese.
She looks more happy, radiant, optimistic.
Bouncing in her steps when she walks.
A bigger smile and she looks more beautiful.
She barely talks to him, only when it concerns Phoenix. She blocks her mind link which puts Kieran on edge.
She doesn't move out of the room which was surprising.
She hates him, he just knows it and he's trying everything he can to win her back.
Although she has been ignoring him, Kieran feels so happy knowing she's happy.
Briseis has given her hope and he prays she doesn't shatter it.
Kieran is running around the border on patrol. Leon's words never leaving his mind.
"Killing them isn't the solution, do you even know what Lucian is doing to those kids?".
He wishes to put a stop to this.
The young ones don't deserve this.

Annaliese head hurts.She's in her bed when she wakes up.Groggily, she opens her eyes."She's awake", someone says.Her head keeps pounding so she closes her eyes in pain as she sits up."Baby, how do you feel?", Kieran calls out at her."Like my head is about to fall off".She stands up on two wobbling feet as Kieran supports her."How long was i out?"."Sixteen hours"."What says the time?", she asks.

Annaliese hurries out the door with phoenix.This house is amazing,she thinks.She walks downstairs slowly, taking in every detail."Joyce?"."Finally", Joyce says pulling her out the door."Where are we going?"."Town, Tricia and Marian are already in town planning".They get into a car accompanied by guards."I'm hungry, i haven't eaten since i woke up"."You'll eat when we get into town, we still have to find you a dress".When they finally got into town and out of the car, people stare at her with wide smiles on their faces.

It's been four days since Annaliese got her eyesight back and It's been so much fun.She finds everything very colorful and beautiful.She finally forgave Kieran. He made it up to her.First, he called a meeting of the whole pack and confessed the kiss to them, apologized to her publicly.Then, he wrote this long epistle of how she meant so much to him and how he was really sorry.And then he got her a lovely bracelet with the words "forever" written on it.Then he cooked her a meal and if Annaliese was being honest, it was horrible.Kieran does not know how to cook.

"OK, we gotta supply food for the builders", Tricia says looking up from the paper in her hand."Use caterers", Annaliese replies her sipping on her coffee.She looks around the coffee shop and sighs."What's wrong?", Tricia asks."I'm just happy"."Still haven't gotten used to your eyesight", Tricia comments."No, everything is just fascinating".Sitting by the window, Annaliese looks out and watches the cars and people go by.
