I’m worried for my brother. Although he didn’t talk about it too much, I know that there’s a lot of anxiety underneath the surface.

As Silas leads us down to the second floor he says, “Hey, calm down, Kai and Genevieve confided in us and that helps them out a lot already. We’ll figure this thing out with the vamps.”

“I know we will. Just wondering when life can calm down and we can you know have a normal existence.”

He chuckles, “Have we ever had a ‘normal’ existence Lux?”

I shrug, “I suppose not.”

He turns towards me and grabs my face as he passionately kisses me causes me to gasp in surprise. His tongue slips in my mouth and I moan as I tug on his reddish brown locks. He nibbles my bottom lip before pulling away. His eyes gazes into mine and are mischievous. He smirks and says, “Come on, we can do fun stuff later, right now we need to see my family.&rdq
