Jack then untied Iris' hand and leg straps. Then lastly, he pulled Iris's chin a little rough before opening the duct tape on her mouth.
"I'm quite surprised they didn't find this woman in the midtown of Los Angeles. I mean, look at how she looks!" Jack looked back. He looked at Eva and his friends, who seemed relaxed.
Iris was still watching with a high degree of vigilance. Judging from the expressions of these four people, it could be that they were changing the atmosphere to calm her down a bit before they killed her.
But when Iris looked here and there, she didn't find a single sharp object. Like a knife to skin her body or even a big saw to cut her body. She was sure she would be mutilated.
Her mind was already worst after she was kidnapped on the side of the road. The worst possibility if kidnapped is none other than to be killed or may be sold, right? Iris had seen the terrible news about the murders on television many times.
"Who are you? Why did you arrest me?" Iris started to speak.
Suddenly a man who was standing right behind Eva's chair approached and sat down on the edge of the table.
"I thought this woman was mute." Said the man with a smile.
Eva shook her head as she watched her comrades, which frightened Iris even more. She stood up and walked to a table by the door and brewed coffee there.
The room that became their gathering place was not too wide. There was only a long, dark blue sofa by the coffee counter and a square table with three chairs.
The walls are painted in peach that look like a room touched by a woman's hand. Iris didn't understand why she got into this strange atmosphere.
"Relax, Iris. This asshole is Jack, who sits at the table named Martin, and this man in my back is named Tommy." Eva handed a mug of coffee to Iris while introducing her subordinates one by one.
Iris still didn't understand who they were and the purpose of capturing her like this. Just explaining the name didn't make her understand their problem with her.
"Since when did you notice her, Eva? We didn't even realize she had been in LA this whole time." Tommy, who was quieter than the others, finally spoke up. He walked over to the counter to make coffee too.
Eva was suddenly speechless because she had lived in Los Angeles all this time, but she had never seen her. If only yesterday she had not bought coffee at the cafe where she worked, maybe Eva would never know.
"She lives far from the city. That's why I didn't know her whereabouts." Eva said as she leaned her body against the wall.
"So what now? Allan went to Moscow, and Shane was in the lab. Nobody taught this woman." The man named Martin pointed at Iris while talking to Eva.
"Then why not you, Martin?" Tommy suggested suddenly. His mouth was sipping the bitter taste of the coffee he had just brewed.
Martin folded his arms in front of his chest. "I'm busy. This afternoon I have to go to Croatia. If you want to replace me, that's fine with me."
Tommy snorted as he looked to the side. "No thanks. I've been busy too."
"Then why not me? How?"
"No!" Eva immediately balked when Jack suggested to himself. "We'll wait for Allan to come back."
"Excuse me, what's your business with me? What do you want from me?" Iris asked, interrupting their conversation with an annoyed tone.
She was silent listening even made her head hurt because of their unclear conversation. Who is Allan? Who is Shane? Why do they go abroad? There were so many questions in her head.
Eva rubbed the back of her sore neck. She felt very sorry for Iris because she also couldn't explain in detail who they were.
"Iris, I'll explain this slowly." Iris, who didn't like Eva's words, hit the table with a bang.
"Stop this bullshit! I don't care if you're an assassin syndicate or a member of human trafficking. Quickly settle your business with me and stop making me wait. I'm sick of hearing your talk." Said Iris, still looking at Eva with annoyance.
Tommy and Martin looked at each other for a moment when they saw Iris, who thought they were terrible people. They then looked at Eva with eyes that demanded an explanation.
Eva smiled sourly after hearing Iris' babble. "She rebelled and screamed for help. I panicked, okay?" Eva said defensively.
Tommy shook his head in disbelief with Eva. No wonder Iris thought they were a dangerous criminal syndicate. Martin got off the table and walked over to Eva.
"Then this woman is your responsibility," Martin said, leaving the room casually.
Martin smiles mischievously while he tapped Eva on the shoulder once and followed Tommy out of the room.
"I'm sorry, honey, I can't teach you because I have to work this afternoon."
Iris looked at Jack, annoyed, and slapped the man's hand as it touched her. Like Jack is coming from another planet because of his reckless attitude. But Jack kept smiling while brushing her red hair.
"See you in two weeks, honey. I hope you'll give me a chance after I get back."
Eva rolled her eyes lazily. Iris got goosebumps in her chair as she held her hand to avoid slapping the obscure man.
And everyone left Eva and herself in that room. Iris was still waiting for the woman named Eva to explain the situation. If it's true that they're not a criminal syndicate, there shouldn't be a need to kidnap him like that.
Iris folded her arms across her chest, waiting for Eva to speak. She had to cook dinner for her parents after coming home from work. But instead, she ended up in this nowhere.
"Well... If you had followed my wish to speak. Maybe it wouldn't have ended like this." Eva tried to explain. Iris snorted harshly because Eva blamed her after all the crazy events earlier.
"How did you know about me being adopted? My adoptive father and mother never told anyone about it." Iris suspected that this group was a secret group that would extract information from her.
But suddenly, Eva removed her brown hair, which turned out to be a wig, and then put it on the table. Iris furrowed her brows deeply as she noticed Eva's hair color.
While untying her hair, Eva sat down on the chair opposite Iris. Her expression turned completely serious. The awkward smile has been lost on her lips.
Whether she likes it or not, Eva has to force Iris to join her organization.
"Let's talk about this. Ah! I'm sorry I haven't greeted you yet. Welcome to the Devil Hunter base. You're the 1,456th batch."
The white towel Jonathan was wearing was too low to the point of the V-shaped section in his stomach protruding. And for God's sake, it's so sexy. Iris thought harder until she couldn't think sanely."W-wait! Answer my question first! Also… Why did you put your clothes in my suitcase?" Iris stood up slowly and immediately turned around while rubbing her face. She couldn't imagine being able to see the heavenly sight of a demonic figure like Jonathan. Her hand reached out slowly to slap her cheek to wake her up from hallucinations.Jonathan opens Iris' suitcase but doesn't find his clothes there."You want me to talk naked?" Iris bit her lip chaotically.'Damn it! You want me to scream hysterically here?' Jonathan himself heard clearly."I-I put it in the cupboard downstairs."Iris could hear the sound of drawers being pulled, but she didn't dare turn around for fear of losing her mind to Jonathan. And what is that demo
Jack was so jealous of Iris petting the dog. He put his arm around Tommy's shoulder, still watching Iris even though Jack's eyes were on Iris' cleavage."I want to be a dog. Wooff! Wooff!" Tommy shuddered."I'm going to be an animal torturer." Jack rolled his eyes lazily."Then Iris will be the cop," said Jack, who Iris ignored."Come on, Arthur."Wooff! Wooff!Tommy and Jack looked at each other for a moment. Just now, Iris called the dog by the name Arthur. And the dog also barked like he was happy to be called Arthur."And he hasn't made a sound since I met him at the beach," Tommy muttered. Jack touched his chin with a bit of thought."The power of beauty. Even dogs know which women are beautiful and which are not." Tommy and Jack followed the others into the hotel.Iris took the dog to her room. The two roommates were very surprised because the dog was large and looked very elegant when walking."You bought a
"Yeah. I thought she would come here in jeans and a t-shirt.” Eva replied as she lifted her sunglass. Iris felt awkward."I don't know you to go sunbathing here too, guys." Iris sat next to Eva and stared at the beach. She watched Jack with an amused look for trying to lure a lot of pigeons which is sunbathing."This is Hawaii, girl. You want me to stay in the room until the day after tomorrow?” Shane said with a small snort. Eva smiled lopsidedly to respond to Shane's word.Iris smiled blandly. She had unusual to mingle with her friends like this. It was even the first time she saw Eva, who repeatedly raised her sunglasses when a handsome man passed by.“Ulala~ Look at his six-pack abs.” Shane and Eva chuckled together. Meanwhile, Iris was busy scratching the sand because that man wasn't for her taste.“Iris, sunbathe on my chair. I'm going to surf with Allan first.""Okay."Iris looked at Shane, who ran
Eva looks at her intensely. She was watching Iris whether she was lying or not. But Iris had anticipated that question thanks to Jonathan. She didn't expect that Eva would ask this trivial question, according to Jonathan's prediction.Iris thought to what extent Jonathan understood the character of all of his comrades. Even a woman as complicated and long-minded as Eva could be read easily by him."I'll ask Shane to give you the medicine you need," Eva said again, reading her novel.Iris nodded. Her toes had been moving restlessly in her shoes because of Eva's gaze. Hopefully, she didn't realize anything about her lies. After a long journey, they finally arrived in Hawaii. Luckily they came at night, so there was still time to rest before starting the event to relieve stress on the beach later. They all gathered in the lobby. Eva and Shane seemed to share room keys with their men.“Okay, because our budget is limited. You have to
Iris suddenly had terrible thoughts about Jonathan. He couldn't have stolen the phone to keep an eye on her from afar, could he? Her mouth laughed uncertainly and awkwardly. She then typed a message for him.She had a bit of a nosy intent now. And this she learned from a colleague when she worked part-time at a coffee shop. She bit her thumb a little intensely before sending the message to him.'I'll keep it. What name do you want me to write your contact on my phone? Dear? My darling? XD.'SEND“Iris! Come on!" Suddenly Shane called out.Iris immediately stood up and realized that she had been busy in her world since earlier. Luckily Shane called her. Otherwise, goodbye, Hawaii."Wait for me!" She shouted as she half-ran after them all. Jack was already in the front row, and the others were like playgroup boys for following him. When entering the plane, Iris didn't forget to turn on airplane mode on her phone. But when
Iris felt a few seconds passing by in silence. What did he say? Sex? Even though she had just said she would help make his wish come true. It feels so embarrassing. Iris desperately wanted to break eye contact with him and get in the mouse hole because she was too embarrassed. She just never had sex before. "Um… I'm sorry. I don't think I can make that one wish come true." She said nervous and embarrassed. Jonathan looked normal and sat on a chair looking at the box of almost expired milk. "I have no interest in doing it either," He said. Iris was relieved. She just couldn't imagine having sex with the devil. Also, she was attracted to him. But for sex, she can not accept it. After their awkward conversation ended, she immediately washed the bowl she had used earlier and entered her room. In her room, she immediately jumped on the bed and buried her face in the pillow. She could not i
