Santi watched the whole debacle in front of him. When Sora appeared on its fog form that was only visible in Countess Vergara's eyes, he ordered it to spare her life.

After all, only his daughter had the fun to avenge her hatred. What about him? He had been on the lookout for the Countess for a long time. He was just waiting for a time to strike back. He promised Zariah that he wouldn't do anything to the Countess.
