10. Lunch
It was almost eleven in the morning I must attend the meeting with sales department. The news about me being Mr. Walker’s personal assistant had been known by most of the staff in here even the guard.
I met Windy and Linda yesterday. They were shocked when I said I had made a contact with Mr. Walker as his assistant. Our senior manager made someone else replace me to cover the rest of my job. There was nothing to worried about. As for Linda and Windy they were so supportive.The meeting went well and everything worked according to the plan. They only needed to wait for the launching day that will be happening tomorrow. I was looking forward for this project because I had been giving my idea for most of it. We ended up being in EL ALFA boutique shop. The boutique was huge with all of our products from men clothing to women clothing to perfume. You can find it in one place. Mr. Walker was talking with the staff." Miss Violet Hank? " One of the worker called my name." Yes. " I answered and my eyes looked directly at her name tag. Her name is Sofia." You can come with me to women section. " She asked me to follow her." Huh? " I was clueless. I search for Mr. Walker apparently he was nowhere to be found." I stared at the shopping bags blankly before immediately dialled Mr. Walker’s phone number that I’d have taken from William. " Mr. Walker, I don’t need all this. Please take it back. " I said after the call was picked up. I heard Mr. Walker voice but I didn’t hear any answer. I checked out the number again to confirm whether it was really Mr. Walker’s phone number. " Hello, Mr. Walker. " I called his name again after confirming it was his number." Miss Hank, it’s me Thomas. Mr. Walker has fallen asleep. " Thomas's voiced as he answered the call. When did you know from now on you were someone's foe? It is when you say they are tyrant straight to their face. Because right now Mr. Walker is hostile to me. I was sitting at the side of the bed ready to sleep I switched off the bedside lamp, lied down on the bed pulled up the duvet to my chest. I was so ready to have a very sweet dream. Wonderful dream, I'm coming!! As I closed my eyes, while I was finding my sweet dream, suddenly Mr. Walker’s image popped up in my mind blocking the illusion to create. I spent the whole night as I planned. As soon as I walked into my apartment after taking a shower, doing a midnight skincare routine I headed to my room, sitting on the bed and opened the laptop to watch my favourite drama.I stayed up until three in the morning and fell asleep after that. I was sleeping soundly on the bed when I heard a sound from the phone ringing beside me I reached for the phone. My eyes are still not able to open up fully as a result of staying up at night.I saw on the phone screen a number that I didn’t recognize I chose not to answer it and sleep back. I was standing infront of Mr. Walker’s penthouse which is located around the centre of New York City. Thomas stood before me, he rang the bell after a moment the door opened up and Mr. Walker standing behind it.
