115. Blueprint

A year later

I heard birds chirping outside the window. It's been two months since we moved into our new home, a private mansion in the suburbs of New York. We have been looking for a house for a long time. It was in one of Mr. Walker's family projects.

I fell in love with this house as soon as I saw it on the internet which is under renovation and will be sold later. I couldn't lose this opportunity so I immediately instructed my secretary to contact their agent. In less than a week this house is completely mine and will soon be our little family home.

The fresh morning breeze swept through our room brushing my skin. I pulled the blanket from my waist to my chest while my eyes were still closed.

My movement had stir up the man next to me from his deep sleep. He tightened his hold on me and brought his body closer to me even though we were already close. I looked up at his face to find that his eyes were still closed and he was breathing at a slow, steady pace.

Finally....I finished this onešŸ˜†. My first book. It's not perfect but it's still fun because I've learned a lot since the day one I started writing this book.
