ADRIANA

~~~
I haven't been able to keep Nick out of my mind. From the moment I saw him that day, he has been stuck in my head.
Each night I go to sleep, it's his face I see. When I touch myself at night, it's his fingers I imagine. It's his voice I hear.
And it's driving me crazy because I don't even know him. I only just realized he exists a week ago, yet he has taken over my entire thoughts.
I sigh in frustration as I apply gloss on my lips.
"You should break up with Ryan, Adri. He's not good for you."
I pause and turn around to stare at my sister. She's sitting on my bed, leaning on her elbow.
At seventeen, Karina looks more like Romeo than she looks like me, even though Romeo and I are practically identical.
"It doesn't work that way, Karina." I murmur. "I love Ryan. I can't just break up with him."
"Aren't you bothered that he cheats on you?" She asks with a frown. "If I ever have a boyfriend and I find out he cheated, I'd dump his ass."
I chuckle softly. I used to be like her, stubborn and hardheaded. Until I met Ryan.
"You've never had a boyfriend." I reply, running the glossy sheen over my lips. "One day you're going to have one. You'll fall in love with him and realize just how far you're willing to forgive him."
"There's a thin line between forgiveness and stupidity." She retorts with an eye roll.
I turn and glare at her. "That doesn't make sense. And I'm not stupid. Ryan is the love of my life. And yes, he cheats once in a while, but he's going through a lot of stress. He'll change."
She shakes her head and falls back on the bed. "You're hopeless."
"You'll understand when you fall in love." I shrug and step back from the mirror to examine my outfit.
The black gown clings to my hips perfectly. I turn to the side and check out my ass which pushes out in a wide curve.
A small smile tugs at my lips. Call me vain, but I fucking love my body.
I grab my jacket from the bed, run my hands through my hair and glare at Karina.
"Don't you dare go through my closet while I'm away. I'll be back later."
"Whatever." She mutters, and I finally step out of the room.
I walk past my dad's study and see him standing by the window. He's on a call, so I just stand there and admire him. He's one of the most handsome men I know, and aging hasn't changed that.
He senses my presence and turns around. A pleased smile stretches his lips when he sees me.
I blow him a kiss and hurry away before he can call me in. My mom is curled up on the sofa, reading a novel when I walk past.
The TV is on, with the volume turned down.
"I'm off to see Ryan." I lean over the couch and kiss her cheek.
"I want you back before dinner." She calls after me.
"Okay." I yell back.
Getting into my car, I back out of the driveway. The gates open automatically as I drive through and speed down the path leading to the highway.
I haven't seen my stalker since the night he came to my window again. Each time I remember what happened between us, my heart jolts wildly.
When I placed my hand on the window and he placed his over it, it had been... magical. I seem to have forgotten how he chased after me at the abandoned Park.
There's just something about him that makes me want to know who he is. Why is he stalking me? What did he want?
The thought remains with me until I arrive at Ryan's apartment. I park beside his parents' car and get down.
Walking up to the door, I knock softly. Suddenly that familiar feeling descends on me. I'm being watched.
I whirl around, searching the surrounding houses. I don't find anyone, but I know someone is watching me, and I know who it is.
My stalker.
The door opens and I turn around again to see Ryan's mom standing there. She's a pretty woman in her late fifties, with kind blue eyes and blonde hair. Ryan gets his good looks from her and her husband.
Her face brightens up with a smile when she sees me.
"Hello, Mrs. Lazzare." I smile.
"Adri, darling." She beams, reaching out to touch my cheek. "Come in. How are you doing?"
"I'm okay, ma'am." I smile as I step inside.
"Ma'am?" She chuckles. "I told you, Adri. You can call me Melissa. You're family, you know."
My smile widens. "I know, Melissa. How's Mr. Lazzare?"
"Oh he's fine. Stepped out a while ago. You're here to see Ryan, aren't you?"
I look away with a shy smile. "That's right."
She gives me a knowing smile. "He's up in his room."
"Thank you." I turn and walk up the stairs.
As I make my way to Ryan's room, I pass another bedroom. The door is half opened, but something makes me stop.
Posters of pop star artists and nude women line the walls. I realize instantly that this is Nick's room. I peek inside.
The room smells of him, a dark, rich scent that reminds me of dark chocolate and peppermint.
My curiosity piques and I'm about to step further in when I hear Ryan's voice.
"Babe?"
I almost jump out of my skin as I whirl around. He's standing behind me, a frown on his face.
I force a smile. "Hey, baby." My voice is shaking so bad.
"What are you doing?" He asks.
"Looking for you. I thought you were in there."
Shit! Shit! Shit! Why the fuck did I say that? I'm a terrible liar.
Ryan doesn't say another word. He just grabs my hand and pulls me into his bedroom.
His room is plain, with whitewashed walls and an elegant chandelier hanging from the ceiling. A large king-sized bed is in the middle of the room, along with a reading desk and chair, several floor-to-ceiling mirrors and a walk-in closet. Another door at the corner leads to the bathroom.
Ryan settles on the bed and pulls me onto his laps.
"I don't want you entering that room." He mutters.
I want to ask why, but he's kissing my neck already. I shut my eyes with a sigh when he pushes me back on the bed. His hands are everywhere as he takes off my gown.
He grabs my breasts and I force out a moan. I do it everytime, making such sounds so he'll think I'm turned on. I can't let him know I'm not aroused by his touch.
He flings my gown aside, grabs a condom and puts it on. Then he parts my thighs and shoves his cock into me.
It doesn't take long. In about three minutes, he's done. He rolls away from me, leaving me on the bed. Just like other times.
His phone rings suddenly and the look on his face changes. He puts on his clothes, refusing to meet my eyes. Then he grabs his phone and turns it off.
"I'll be back. Wait for me, okay?" He plants a kiss on my cheek and leaves the room.
Anger and suspicion rises within me instantly. Muttering a cuss, I make my way to the bathroom to wash myself.
But I don't step under the shower. I can't. The wetness between my thighs is throbbing, aching painfully.
I want release. Pure, mind-numbing sexual release, the kind Ryan has never given me. The throbbing becomes so unbearable that I let out a soft whimper. I think my body has reached its limits because I've never felt this way.
I step into the tub, lean back against it and spread my thighs open.
My nipples tighten as I push a hand between my wet folds, searching for my clit. The sweet sensation slams into me so hard that a throaty moan escapes.
I circle my clit with my fingers, my back arching, my pussy clenching hard, my thighs trembling. Ryan has never made me feel this way.
As I pleasure myself, I squeeze my breast, tweaking the nipple as I rub faster on my clit. I'm moaning louder now as my fingers roll faster, rubbing over my sensitive clit.
I shut my eyes and try to think of Ryan, but I'm not surprised when I see Nick's face instead.
I imagine Nick's hands down there, touching me, fucking me, whispering softly in my ear with that sexy voice of his.
I let out a soft cry as I shatter, my orgasm rippling through me. I shudder, feeling more of my juices squirt out. The sensation feels so good that I don't want it to stop.
A sound at the door drags me out of my aroused state. I open my eyes and look up, expecting to see Ryan.
But I find Nick standing there instead. His eyes are heated, and he's staring at my fingers wet with my juices.
    ADRIANA~~~Nick freezes at the door for a moment, his face twisting into a scowl, his gaze zeroing in on Melissa. Then he snaps out of his daze and storms in. He shoves Melissa aside, not caring if she falls. "How dare you hit her?" He roars. "How dare you?"Melissa steadies herself against the bed and straightens. She looks at Nick in disbelief, her face a mask of immense shock. "You pushed me." She whispers, like she can't believe it. "You put your hands on me, Nick.""I'll do more than that if you ever lay a hand on Adriana." Nick retorts. "You do not put your hands on the woman I love."My entire body stiffens suddenly. Nick's words echo in my ears, repeatedly, until it feels like my ears are ringing with it. I look up at him in surprise, confusion, shock. Every emotion goes through my face as I stare at him. Did he just confess his love for me? From the bed, Ryan sits up. Apparently, the fact that Nick confessed his feelings for me doesn't sit well with him. As for Melissa
    ADRIANA~~~A few minutes after I head into the treatment room, Caesar's phone rings out. He turns and answers it, muttering about how important the call is. I stand beside the other nurses, passing the equipment they need and also keeping an eye on Caesar. He appears outraged, and he keeps pulling at his hair. He turns and catches my stare. I look away quickly, but there's no use. He saw me. From the corner of my eyes, I watch him eye me suspiciously before muttering into his phone and hanging up. "Do everything you can to save that dog." He says as he walks towards the door. "I have something urgent to do."I instantly begin to suspect him. Over the years, I've learnt to always trust my guts. And right now, something tells me there's more to the phone call Caesar just made. An hour later, after the Husky's wound has been treated and bandaged, I head towards my office and collapse into the chair. A lot of strange things have been happening recently. First, Nick, and his weird a
    THE STALKER~~~I clench the wheel tightly as I drive back to base. My temper is on the verge of getting out of control. I'm pissed. Fuck, I'm furious! Because that bastard, Hunter, has his sights on Adriana. I know I shouldn't feel this way. I shouldn't feel this rage. I'm meant to keep an eye on her because it's my job, not turn her into my obsession. Well, too late. I'm already deeply attached to her to let go. She's mine, and no one can take her away from me. I speed past the armed guards at the entrance, ignoring their waves. All I can think about is smashing my fist into Hunter's jaw. The steel gates open to receive me, and the moment I drive in, it swiftly shuts close. I get out, slamming the door in restrained anger. My assistant, Desmond, spots me and hurries over. But when he notices the rage in my eyes, he stops. "Are you okay?" He asks tentatively. "Where's Caesar?" I snap, ignoring his question. "He's not back. Is there a problem...?""Put a call across to him. N
  • The Bodyguard's Obsession   Chapter 63: Not a stranger
    ADRIANA ~~~ Nick storms out of the hospital room in anger. I'd seen the pain in his eyes, pain laced with rage and guilt. I try to follow him but Ryan grabs my arm. "Ryan, let go." I snap. "Why are you doing this, Adri?" He asks in that usual voice he uses whenever he tries to manipulate me. But not this time. It won't work anymore. I slap his hand away. "What is your problem? Nick is clearly upset because of you. Why won't you just settle whatever grudges you have with him?" "I'm the one in the hospital." He shoots back. "I'm the one who got hurt, and all because of you." "Don't you dare put the blame on me." I snap. "I told you we were done. You chose to get depressed and almost killed yourself." "What hold does Nick have over you? Why do you suddenly care about him? We've been together for two years. You've known him for a few months and he's suddenly the air you breathe?" I stand there, fuming with anger. If Ryan hadn't been hurt, I would have slapped him. "I can't
    NICK~~~"Who exactly did you pay to push you into the road?" I ask with a clear, cold voice. Ryan's expression cracks for a moment, revealing the fear underneath. "I don't know what you're talking about." He says, looking away. "Cut the bullshit, Ryan." I snarl. "I don't believe the crap you told Adriana. You and I know you weren't distracted." I step towards the side of the bed and lean over him, until my face is inches away from his. His eyes flicker with fear, the same fear that has always been constant between us. Ryan had always been scared of me. Even before Amelia was born, when things were not so messed up, he held a kind of respect/fear for me. The fear only drowned out the respect after Amelia's death. I grab his arm suddenly, my fingers digging into his flesh. "Answer me, Ryan!" I yell. "Who pushed you onto the road?" "You're fucking insane!" He snarls back. "Let me go or I'll call the nurse." "Go on, call them. I'm sure they'll like to dig into what really happe
    NICK~~~I scoff in annoyance. "I'm the reason you're in here? Grow up, Ryan! It's time you stopped blaming me for every shit that goes down in your messed up life.""You caused this, Nick!" Ryan yells at me. "If you hadn't taken Adriana away from me, this wouldn't have happened.""Ryan, stop it!" Adriana snaps. "Stop blaming Nick for what happened. You messed up. You hurt me...""And you had to date my brother?" Ryan's voice shakes as he argues back. "I wouldn't have cared if you dated someone else. But my brother?"I step towards the bed suddenly, and my sudden move startles both Adriana and Ryan. I lean forward and grip the railings. "You have no fucking business with who she dates. You pushed her right into my arms. So stop acting like you're the bloody victim."Ryan's face turns red with rage. Good. It's exactly what I aimed for. "GET OUT!" He screams. "GET OUT OF MY ROOM!""With pleasure." I storm out of the room, ignoring Adriana as she calls out my name. This was a mistake.
