"Almost done! Just a little touch-up!" A focused Travis hissed as his slim fingers made shades of lines on a portrait he had been drawing.

He carefully made a four with his legs that were nervously trembling as he traced his pencil on the portrait— afraid that he'd make a mistake. He stopped for a brief moment and went on to take a sip of orange juice.

"And-d-d…done!" He expressed happily while exhaling deep breaths of relief. His eyes that were glowing with glee averted themselves from the portrait, towards a void of blackness that was decorated by birthstone-blue stars in the shapes of pentagrams.

He admiringly stared at the breathtaking stars that were twinkling at him like little pulses of light. All stars were victoriously flashing and flickering like bejewelled grains of sand, allowed to sparkle in silence.

Sensing as relief trailed down in the deepest parts of his system, Travis released a loud, sonorous sigh that for some reason made him throw out peals of giggles. His eye

Heavy! His head was overwhelmed by tormenting, poisonous thoughts that made it hard for him to think straight. Pain? Every part of his head was kept hostage by a piercing pain that struck every nerve of his brain. His chest barely moved; it was as if he had no energy to breathe, and the truth was that he wished he could not at all. There, he laid on the bed, his puffy and red eyes blankly staring at the ceiling. Nothing — his heart throbbed with slow beats as he listened to the shrieking thoughts that shamelessly lay heavy on his brain. Nothing was the same, it never was ever since he received that envelope with Travis's name on it. He tried to console himself — pacify himself to forget about anything else and focus on the mission but the problem was, the mission was to betray the person he loved. Well, he already betrayed him — sleeping with Sean was the biggest betrayal of them all. “I wish…it could be me instead, mom. I wish it was me sleeping there, maybe…maybe I

[THE SAME NIGHT!]The world narrowed to the space between them, allowing the air to charge with anticipation. Eyes sparkling with glee locked with each other. Standing only a breath away from each other, their heaving chests touched and connected into a synchronized mode.“Sean…!” David, whose cheeks were violently blooming, whispered as soon as he felt Sean’s warm body rudely press against his, leaving no gap between their organs and sensitive parts. Wearing a treacherous smile, Sean leaned his head forward and, without warning, glued his lips to David’s throat, leaving a trail of goosebumps. The man shamelessly smirked as he deliberately left marks on David’s neck while listening to his needy cries. His cold, veiny hand slipped down on David’s waist and quickly felt excruciating heat radiating from the boy’s body. “You say you don’t want me here, but your body says something else. Make up your mind, Pookie!”Sean whispered close to David’s red ears before a grunt flowed from his lip

[THE SAME DAY…]NIGHT,The wind blew its stinging kisses on David’s warm skin, which was slowly becoming cold. His hair whipped fast as the gentle breeze continued to play hide and seek on the strands of his hair. There, he slouched with undistinguished fright as he watched the broad back of Mr M, whose hand was hidden deep into the pockets of his trousers while his other free, gloved hand carefully held tight on his cigar. The mafia don puffed smoke out as his eyes admired the night sky above them.“Enchanting, isn’t it?” Mr M aired a question intended for David, who was trying his best to hold in his emotions and keep his heart steady, but of course, it was becoming a hard activity. Behind David were two strongly built guards who were coolly looking around.“Y-yes. Very enchanting…!” The boy replied instantly after recalling that the man before him did not like to repeat himself or wait for a response. His eyes slowly rose at Mr Sok, who had been standing next to Mr M, carefully fo

  • The Brightest Shadow: Teenage Days   Welcome Home, Jiyeon

Silence – the office was under the reign of oppressive waves of silence. It was suddenly too cold to hang around; stares and a smirk, Mrs. Park quietly scowled at the young girl, following every one of her movements, which were sudden and gayly coloured by anxiety. The chilling drops of sweat shamelessly dangled on her forehead, making her shiver as if she had taken a dip in cold water. Right there, she tried not to show emotions, but of course, that proved to be an arduous task.Trying to hold her chin up, Jiyeon’s face suddenly became pale as if her blood had been drained from her. Eyes bulged with tears, lingering on their doorstep.“So?” Out of the blue, Mrs Park’s voice boomed, making Jiyeon’s heart hammer against her chest – so loud that she thought the old woman could hear it from where she was sitting. “Have you finally decided to talk, Jiyeon?”The old woman spat through her clenched teeth, her smile slowly touching the tips of her ears. Her deep, demanding voice was lacking

The rising sun gently blew its beams down to the Park mansion, there, where they innocently floated into the kitchen, mischievously landing on Travis's pale face. They meant no harm but Travis swiftly released a loud, sonorous sigh, his forehead wrinkling with irritation. “I knew her silence meant nothing good but was it necessary to have said all those nasty things in David's face? Whoever said I care about the name!?” Immediately after a minute, an agitated Travis whose veiny eyes were flickering with rage that was equally married to fear, hissed through his teeth as quietly as he could. His phone laid heavily on his trembling, sweaty hand as he leafed through its blue screen. His heart was throbbing uncontrollably against his chest as he typed a message to David. That would be the seventh message he'd have to type to his boyfriend whom did not respond since last night. None of the messages were responded or read, not even to mention his calls. That was the reason why Travis was

[Later That Night:]“Have you begun with the search? I need the results as soon as possible; right before any of this get out of hand!” An agitated Mrs Park, who was pacing back and forth, hissed through her clenched teeth. Her features were chiseled, icy, and unyielding, betraying no hint of tender emotions, only those that sent chills down Arthur's spine. She narrowed her eyes at Arthur who was uncomfortably standing still on the same spot, as his eyes followed the hasty movements of his grandmother. “D-don’t worry, I am almost there. I will be done before the schools reopen, I promise you!” Arthur responded shortly after taking a deep breath to hold control over his heart. His hands were carefully placed on his back as he spoke. “How can I not worry when I see that things are falling apart? Those two do not belong together! Their so-called friendship will ruin everything I have built. Thank heavens that nothing has been linked to the media yet.” Mrs Park retorted and quickly wen
