Chapter 6

When my alarm went off in the morning, I didn’t even bother checking my phone. It was early – earlier than I typically get up and I had an important meeting this morning. Although only my third day, the head of research wanted to meet to review our tentative plan, especially since we had set up a meeting for a few weeks with Dr. Ochoa. Unbeknownst to me, Dr. Ochoa was apparently very elusive when it came to meeting with research teams. He apparently hadn’t entertained a pharmaceutical research team in over 10 years. Apparently, our appointment with him was the buzz around the office and my boss wanted to ensure that we met regularly until the meeting with Dr. Ochoa, starting with our early meeting today.
