Justin’s POV

It was a week since Zena had been discharged from the hospital yet she refused to go anywhere.

I consistently tried my best to encourage her but she held to herself.

It was her first week since the miscarriage and I felt so dire because it was so hard for her to scale through.

My mum has never stepped foot into my house since then and I made sure of it. I snip her off for a while because of the solemnity of her offense.

I never heard from Alicia again and she presumably went out of the country. Her parents phoned to ask about her whereabouts and I told them I had nothing to do with her.

All I cared about now was Zena and how I could help her overcome what she was going through. It was so hard for her and sobbed most of the time.

I knew it was going to be tough for her but I didn’t know she’d be this withdrawn.
