“For the last time dad, I’m okay with my choices. You don’t have to remind me of things that I did in the past,” Alex said while pacing around in anger.

He had been on this argument with his father for minutes on end and it didn’t seem like it would be stopping anytime soon.

“Look, all I’m saying is that maybe you should have given us a warning next time,” Lyon Taylor said to his son as Alex stopped pacing around to face his dad squarely.

“I can’t believe this. You wanted me married. I am married.”

“To a woman not a man.”

“He’s the nicest man I’ve ever met. I already told you we’ve been a thing for a very long time but you don’t seem to get that. What else do you want from me?”

“Did he coerce you into doing that?”

“I am a grown ass adult. I can do whatever I want.”

“Language!” Lyon yelled as Alex growled and started to breathe deeply to calm himself down.

The two men stared at each other as the atmosphere started to get heavier with each passing second.
