Chapter 22

Isabella's pov;

"Have you heard anything about this?" Tracy inquired as I took my notebook from my backpack.

"About what?" I murmured, staring blankly at my notebook.

"Your bully was severely beaten by someone and showed up with a bruised face. It's all over the school. Everyone on campus was discussing this. How come you didn't know about this?"

I let out a sigh and asked, "Did you finish the task for Ms Greta?"

"Yes. But…"

Before she finishes, Jose interrupts and talks to her.

I got out my phone and saw Harry's picture all over the social media feeds. They were outrageous in their remarks about him. Because of the bruised face, some of the statements were harsh and appeared to be bullying. Some weren't even sentences; they merely sounded like ones, but they weren't. Nonetheless, they said everything.

"Not all injuries are bad, some demonstrate the fortitude of that person for someone they love," I said under the picture of Harry they uploaded. And stuffed my phone back into my bag.
