James kept thinking and smiling at himself after Patricia's departure. He wished she had stayed longer and was looking forward to seeing her again.

"Not only did she capture my heart, she's also willing to help me. She is too good to be true, how can she be single? He sat up.

He couldn't sleep, he couldn't toss himself side by side either. "Is this what it feels like to fall in love with someone? Little wonder, Bella won't listen to me."

Looking at the machines and the intravenous saline passed into his body, his smile vanished, his illness broke him. He had dragged Bella down with him, he wasn't going to do that her.
