CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN

I shoved her thoughts away before stepping in my office. I was extremely worried about her. She was pregnant with our twins. It wasn't easy to rein my thoughts. 

     "Mark," I said as I strode behind the desk. 

     "Sir," He extended his hand. He was tall and slim. He always wore black leather jacket. 

      I hired this private agent when my wife got shot. I was actually disappointed with him as he was the best in his job and he couldn't gather anything against him. 

      I did a handshake, "Any progress?" I asked. 

      "Yes, sir." He said with a terse nod. 

      I exhaled, "Please," I gestured with my hand at the seat.
