Incoherently, I felt a strong grip on my upper arm which started to drag me with it. When I lifted my eyes, it was Chris, " What are you doing, sir? " I protested but in a low voice. I didn't want to create a scene.

I am Agat's partner and that scandal was enough for tonight.

Chris didn't stop dragging me with him. He didn't look back at me once that it was hurting me. He was pathetic. He walked into the ladies room, " Out! " He yelled at all.

I flinched with his cold tone. All ladies immediately rushed out of the washroom with shocked expressions. They stared at me before leaving. Now it was only we two. I swallowed hard.

What is wrong with him? Why did he drag me like this as I am some sort of criminal?

He turned me and conquered my back with a white marble wall, " What the heck is happening between you and my brother? " He asked me, tightening his both hands on my upper arms, pinning me to the wall.

I thought people were pretending on the television's screen. But it was actually hurting. His hold was tight on my upper arms. I struggled and tried to get away from him. But he was tightening his hands, " Please, leave me. " I said.

' We haven't talked about anything related to business. But I've always stared at him and found him staring back at me too. I've seen him going behind the office door with a new girl every day and then the next day reading gossip about him with the same girl in magazines and the office. There's no difference between the two brothers. But I found a huge difference. Agat knows how to treat his lady. '

" Damn! Answer me." He demanded.

His fingers dug more in my skin. It was irritating me, " My personal life is not your business. " I snapped.

He may be my boss but no one gives him any right to hurt me and question me. Now I was glad I didn't try to talk to him like other girls were doing at this party. Indeed, that wasn't me.

He was staring at me. My heart was drumming in my ears. I was struggling but I could not break his hold. He bent closer. I was feeling fear with so much closeness. He bent more, his lips were going to be on mine.

Before it could happen, his mouth was covered with a hand. I saw his burning sun tattoo. I sighed in relief, " Pretty bad, little brother." He said it coldly.

" Listen, brother." Chris didn't remove his hands from me.

" Shut the fuck up, Chris. Get your hands off of my woman. " Agat's hand was still on his mouth and he pushed him away from me.

Chris snorted. He backed up and turned to go away. He was looking aggravated, " Apologize," Agat said through his gritted teeth.

" I'm sorry. You didn't need a job now, I guess. And you're fired " Chris said with a sour expression on his face and rushed out of the washroom. His hands were balled.

What! Is this man insane? I'm jobless.

I stared at his back, feeling sad and hurt.

" Hey, love you okay. " Agat whirled me with his soft touch on my arm. He rubbed his palm on my upper arms where Chris was crushing me. His hand was feeling good against paining skin.

I nodded quickly, " Let's go. All will be finding you. " I told and walked out of the washroom.

I've had a lot of time to cry over the loss of my job. But not now, not here.

His arm quickly wrapped around me as he'd never leave me alone. A stray tear rolled down my cheek. He stopped and pinned me on the wall but not crudely like his brother. He was gentle or he knew to be gentle with girls. " I'm seeing you for months. " My mouth dropped to the ground, " You gave me peace. But your tears, " His jaw tightened and his expression was cold, " I hate this damn thing in your eyes. " He brushed his long finger on my cheek and placed a soft kiss on my cheek.

" What do you mean!? Months! Are you stalking me? " I asked in astonishment.

He narrowed his eyes, " I often visit my brother's office. Your head always dug into your work. " He frowned.

" I'm sorry. " I whispered. Another tear was fighting to get free but I could let it happen. After this party, I would be away from them, this family. I'd find a job.

He held my hand and we walked together out of the washroom.

There were all happy faces at the party as I was no longer an employee of this company. So I was with him officially now. His hand came across my waist and we walked toward his parents. I felt Chris gaze on me, " Mom, will you accompany my girl. I need to talk to my. " He trailed and beckoned at a throng of people. He wanted to discuss his business. I was thinking he would be enjoying parties as his younger brother does but I was wrong. I never saw him looking at anyone except me.

" Of course, Agat. " She was holding her champagne and smiled at us.

Does he treat all his dates like this? But it was feeling special as he hadn't done this for anyone.

" Thanks, mom. " He took a step back and kissed his mother's cheek. It showed he loved his mother. My lips stretched in a small smile.

He turned at me. My heart bounced, " I won't take much time. I need to discuss a business meeting. Okay, love. " He came closer and brushed his lips on mine. My lips tingled. My stomach did a flip. In a flash, he was gone and I was still watching him with a smile.

" Alyssum, " His mother sweetly said my name.

" Yes, Mrs Rayden, " I said, removing my eyes from his back to his mother.

A tuxedoed guy stopped and she signed at the drinks, " Your hands are empty, sweetie. " She said and I picked up the glass of cold drink.

She gave me a narrowed eyed look, " I don't drink. " I said to her.

     " Strange, it's a miracle. " His mother smiled.

" I don't have a strong metabolism to digest it." I smiled, I wasn't feeling ashamed of it that I couldn't drink. I was proud of it.

She shook her head, " It's the first time, he's dating an innocent girl like you. He never introduced his girlfriend to us. You are the one. He's looking calm. His eyes are still on us, to check on you. " She said, smiling as recalling her days with her husband.

I looked at his direction. She was right. When his eyes met mine. He winked at me before offering me a soft smile.

My stomach is gonna kill me with this flipping thing. I turned my eyes from him with a blush, " It rarely happens. "

    " Yes, it does. "

Then some other rich ladies of the house join us. Rosemary introduced me to them. After some time I excused myself and left the ladies to talk about their gossip. I walked at the gargantuan wall again. My hand automatically placed on it. I was missing his touch over my hand. And it happened. His hand came over mine, " Are you in love with the view. " His sexy voice poured in my ears.

      " Um, it's beautiful. " I smiled.

" Not more than you, love. " He placed a soft kiss on my neck as his arm wrapped around my stomach.

He turned me again and my back touched the wall. I never came this close, I was standing above so much height. I should be scared because of my phobia. But I wasn't fearing. It was feeling safe when he was around, " Not again. " I shyly said.

" You're resistible. " He kissed me again with the same tenderness.

Cameras were flashing. I broke the kiss. He smiled and pecked on my lips again, " I should go home. " I told him.

" I should drop you home. " He whispered.

       " No, I'll manage. " I shook my head.

" Nah, not happening, love. " He whispered with a smile. The same killer smile I've seen in magazines when he poses for them. Top magazine's love to capture him for them on the front page. He's a successful businessman and billionaire.

          Handsome!

           Sexy!

" Let's say bye to my parents." He smiled. We walked together like a couple.

" Mom, Dad, we're going home. " Agat smiled at his usual one.

" Pleasure to meet you. " His mother hugged me. I hugged her back with the same warmth.

       I didn't expect it, " Thanks, you are a kind-hearted woman. " I could not stop myself.

She smiled broadly, " Thanks, sweetie." She caressed my cheek.

" See you soon young lady. " His father kissed my cheek.

I smiled that was all I could do, " I'll see you in the morning, dad. " He said and we both walked out.

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   EPILOGUE

I watched kids with amusement as they were rushing from one door to another. It seemed impossible to me. But she cooked delicious food for my family. My parents and her mother were sitting on the couch, drinking their tea and talking. They were looking happy. I couldn't help admiring her petite figure in a red dress. I quite enjoyed the view. She was my wife. We hadn't officially signed any contract but marriage papers definitely. I could feel my blood rushing with pleasure at the thought of her in my arms. She let me hold her last night. I told her the dark truth of my life. I was expecting hatred. But she accepted me with all my mistakes. Still, I wanted to make it official. I had asked Agat to help me. Alyssum, Victoria, Becca and Kallie were preparing dinner in the kitchen. This house seemed usele

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER SIXTEEN

I hadn't smiled this much before. I could see my world when I looked into his eyes. I hadn't felt loved before. He made me feel. I was here to take my niece. But he took away my heart and gave me every reason to smile, to laugh and to spend life with him. His tears were heart wrecking. I let his pain through his tears, though it was shattering to watch him like this. I let him hold me the whole night, pressing his lips to mine. We slept in each other's arms. I smiled looking at him sleeping. Reluctantly, I extended my hand and slipped in his silky dark hair. I pressed my lips to his forehead. Silently, I slid out of the bed and walked into the washroom. I was in his room. I hadn't seen this part of the house. He never allowed me in before. It wa

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER FIFTEEN

She glanced at me leaving everything behind. There was no worry, tension and fear of losing anything on her face. She thought. I didn't know it. But I knew every move of her body. She was developing feelings for me. I had chosen her for this because I wanted her to be my wife. I was expecting her to hate me, leave me after knowing the truth. But she was still here. I didn't want her to feel for me. She would get nothing but a beast, a broken heart. I wasn't blaming Aly for my heartbreak, but myself. I liked her, she knew it. Still, I was sleeping with other girls instead of talking about my feelings. I did not consider myself a perfect husband like my father and brother. I told her the dark secret of my life in the hope she would hate me and stop feeling for me. I saw respect in he

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER FOURTEEN

I began to walk back and forth. His poker face frightened me most. He wouldn't question me about what I was doing here without informing him. The door opened. He peeled off the phone from his ear as his gaze met mine. Slotting his phone back into his pocket, he strode at me. What was hurting him, the thoughts were making my head hurt. I trudged near him. and looked in his eyes, "Chris," I whispered. "Yea," He ignored to look at me and frowned at the piles of the files. I sighed and turned to the desk. I picked them one by one and arranged it on the wooden ranks, "I know. You don't trust in our wedding. But we can be friends." I said. I forwarded my hand to put the last file. He grasped my hand and twirled me, "What are you trying

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER THIRTEEN

I woke up wearing that stupid short silky dress. Tears leaked from my eyes. I rushed toward the washroom and got rid of it. I didn't make breakfast today. I wasn't expecting him to be home. But I heard footsteps and hope raised, forgetting all the torture of last night. He sat down on the chair. I stood up without a word and walked into the kitchen. I didn't want him to go to the office without eating like yesterday. Hurriedly, I cooked for him and served him. I got in the chair and grabbed my coffee again. It was cold and I wasn't bothered. He casually slid his phone on the table and looked at me across the table, "Where's your food?" He asked. "I'm not hungry," I sai

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER TWELVE

He rang the bell. I watched my surrounding, manicured garden, flowers, trees queues on the side of a single road. If Chris thought, I would change my mind after seeing their wealth. He got me wrong. I spun hearing the door creaking. Alyssum was standing in her shorts, her face was sleepy, her hair was in a loose bun, she stared at us for a second with her blue eyes, She smiled at our sight and beamed. She was looking like a cute little girl with bare feet and her smile. My eyes caught a mark on her neck. "Still sleeping!" Chris arched his eyebrows and leaned in to kiss her cheek. My gaze stopped on her throat. There was a slight mark. She blinked, looking up at him nervously and then smiled. I had heard rumours that my husband was in love with her. I didn't believe the rumou

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER ELEVEN

Our mother in law opened the door for us. Her face brightened looking at her grandchildren. She bent down and hugged them at one time. Alyssum and I laughed. I could see the same excitement on Aidan's face too, who remained with his gadgets the entire day. I must say my mother in law was beautiful, "How are you, mom?" She asked. "I have seen my grandchildren. You can see my smile." She grinned. Alyssum laughed, I smiled too. The thing was, I hadn't experienced what being with family felt like. Now I could be confirmed, it was a blessed feeling. She embraced me with the same enthusiasm. I relaxed in her motherly hold. She invited us in. Kids were already in the room and playing on the blanket where

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER TEN

An icy chill ran down my spine. The thought of my mother laying on the bed terrified me. I needed to concentrate on Chelsea. I should tell her that Alyssum wasn't her mother then it could be. I could persuade her to come with me. I should invite Alyssum for Lunch with her kids. I grabbed my phone and called on her number. "Hello, " I recognized her sweet voice. "Hi, Chelsea! I'm your Zara Aunt." "I'm Elsa," She giggled. "How are you?" I started the conversation with a simple question. I heard another voice. She wasn't alone. I didn't have any experience with kids. I was trying my best. I waited for her to reply. "Mom, it's Zara aunt." Then it went silent. "Are you ok?" I furrowe

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER NINE

PART - TWO I glanced at happy, smiling faces. The wedding was simple but royal one. I couldn't make such arrangements for my wedding. I got married. It didn't seem fair that my sister's one night stand partner was my husband now. My gaze was on Chelsea. My mother and my mother in law…… They were looking at kids and laughing over something. A nurse was sitting on the chair behind my mother. Alyssum's sons, Aidan and Dairo were playing in the background with Renee. She was Victoria and Harris' daughter. Chelsea and Renee were holding a small girl's hand. I didn't know her name but she was Alyssum's best friend's daughter, Becca and Nathan. There were only a few people, almost family. All were rich and businessmen. Chris squeezed my hand. I swivelled and looked at him. His gaze was gi
