We were in the elevator. His hand was wrapped around me still, " I'll manage, Sir. You haven't any need to waste your time. " I told him as I was still in his office.

" Agat, you'll never use Sir for me. " he wryly looked at me. I glanced back. He was looking damn serious about it. It was shocking, " Absolutely, I'm not wasting my time. I'm investing. " he said.

Investing in me?  I raised my eyebrows, " We are not ending up on the same mattress. " I coyly told him.

He spun me to face him. His attention on me, " You are special. You're not like them all at the party. " He said.

He wasn't touching much but his hand on my waist was doing strange things to me. The elevator dinged open, I immediately broke my gaze from him and turned to rush out. But I stopped as I spotted the media standing there with their cameras. " Oh God, " I whispered as I held a breath inside my lungs.

" Relax love, " His arm again claimed its place. I puffed out the air. His bodyguards made a circle around me. But they could not stop the flashing. I kept my face down as lights were piercing my eyes.

He opened the door of his car. I hurriedly jumped in and he got in behind me. He closed the door, " Are you okay? " He asked.

I glanced out, " Do you daily face them?" I asked nervously. They were still flashing their cameras at us.

" Frequently, Next time I'll be more careful." He said.

Yeah! Next time, with your actual date. I gazed out of the window. We were on the highway, " Give me the keys of your car. My driver will drop it at your residence. " He told me. His phone was in his hand.

Here came the embarrassing moment, " I don't have a car. " I told him.

He stared at me but didn't say a word, " Then how do you manage your travelling? " He asked.

      " Taxi, " I shrugged my shoulders.

" How should I pay you your money? " He asked.

      " What money! " I asked.

" Five thousand dollars. " He said.

" And I refused it. " I told him, pursing my lips.

" You need it. I guess you don't have a job now. " He looked at me.

      Yeah! All thanks to you.

" I'll find the second one. There's no media around. You can drop me here. " I told him.

" Impossible. " He shook his head and studied me.

" Why didn't your girlfriend attend the party with you? You are supposed to introduce her to your parents. I guess your parents are expecting your girl to be more than just your date." I told him.

" There wasn't any girlfriend. I need your help." He said again, staring at me.

" What help?" I asked him and furrowed my eyebrows, "Why are you not stopping the car?" I irked.

" I can't discuss it here." He paused, "And I'm not dropping you at a deserted place."

" And why is that? " I asked him.

" Your place or my place? " He asked.

" Excuse me. I told you nothing is happening like that. " I rudely told him. I didn't care about what my tone was.

" I'm not talking about sex. I said I need your help. You can have anything in avenge you want." He said.

I wanted to piss him off now. I wasn't going anywhere with him. This kind of people loved their money, " Two million. " I told him.

I turned to look at his face. I blinked. He was smiling broadly, " Done, " He smiled.

" What? " I winced, " No! No! " I shook my head. I was expecting a big no. He said yes with a smile.

I should think before speaking, he's a billionaire. It could be easy for him.

" It's bad, very bad to back up from your words. You'll be safe with me, I promise. " He said.

        " No, " I said as I took a deep breath.

" Let's take it as a business deal. If you already know me. Then you must be aware that I don't mix pleasure and business. " He said.

This is the second huge difference between the two brothers. He's hardworking and it took him on the top list of businessmen.

He was squeezing my hand softly in his strong hand.

       ' I don't have a job. I should say yes for now.'

" Um, okay. " I timidly whispered. I knew he sensed it.

He placed a soft kiss on my cheek again, " You'll not stop me from kissing you. " He said.

" What? But why! " It startled me.

" We'll discuss it at my place. We are almost there." He said with his signature smirk.

I instantly recognised it. There were reporters outside of his private property, " Why are they chasing you everywhere? " I asked him with a bit of irritation.

" It's the biggest event of our life. " He said.

" Our life. " I glanced at him shockingly.

Why isn't he telling me anything?

" Have forbearance, love. " He crooked his head slightly.

" You'll not touch me inside your place. " I told him.

He frowned but nodded slowly. I held my clutch tightly as we passed through the hurdle of flashing lights. I inhaled slowly when his car stopped at the entrance of his house. He opened the door and held out his hand. I glanced up at him. He raised his eyebrows. I held his hand. The doorman opened the door for us.

My mouth gaped at the sight of his mansion. I ran my eyes on the light red walls up at the roof. A huge chandelier was hanging in the midst of the roof and four small chandeliers had surrounded it.

" You like our house. " He asked as his lips curled into a small smile.

" Um, your house. " I corrected him, " It's so beautiful. " I told him, still running my eyes around.

It's filled with expensive antique furniture and decorative stuff. I looked out of the door before the doorman could close it. The mansion was surrounded by grassland. It was looking like a simple lawn from outside or I didn't pay much attention in the dark.

" Watch your steps, love. It's stairs. " He said.

I immediately pulled my hand back. " Why are we going upstairs? W we can talk here," I told him.

' It has been years, I didn't allow any man to touch me, kiss me and hold my hand like this. He is breaking all my rules.

" Alright, then follow me. " He said.

I glance at his back with a frown. I'm feeling anxious. What kind of help he wanted now. I shook my head and followed him. He opened a mahogany door. It was his office. He sat on a couch and gestured to me to sit with his eyes. I sat far from him, " Take it as a business deal. " He said.

"Are you hiring me for a job?" I asked him. That was giving some relief.

I nodded. I wanted to end it and wanted to go back home. He stood up and walked near the desk. He pulled open the drawer and took out a file. His walk was as he was walking on the ramp. I glanced down on the carpet. I didn't wanna drool over him.

" Read it carefully. " He said, shoving the file in my hands.

I lifted my eyes and looked up at him. His face was poker. He sat back on the couch. I opened the file as a snake was going to bite me coming through it. I sneaked a look before opening it. There was no smirk, no frown on his face.

I opened it and began the reading task. My lips parted in shock. I looked up at him with widened eyes. He was staring at me with intense eyes and a poker face. Is he pretty crazy? " Is this marriage contract? " I asked him to confirm it.

        " Yes, " He said.

" Why have you asked me to read it? " I asked again.

I knew I must be looking like an alien with big eyes and opened mouth. But that was really strange, this contract.

" You know the meaning of partner, right? That particular meaning," He bent forward, resting his elbows on his thighs.

I was clearly getting his meaning, " Why me? I'm not rich. " I asked, staring at him.

" What do you think? A rich woman will sign it. You need money. I need a wife. " He said.

" You're cute and handsome. Anyone will do it for you. I don't have a job but soon I'll get a second job. I have my savings. " I told him.

" It's New York, Love. You know it very well. It's not easy to get a job here. Does it seem to you? After all this, Chris will allow any company to hire you." He inclined back and stared at me under his thick lashes.

His all words were true. I shuddered as I remembered his words. He saw me with his elder brother and fired me immediately. He wouldn't let anyone hire me. I blinked while looking at him, "Forty-eight hours are enough to think over it. " He said.

        " I don't know, " I whispered.

" I know about your parents. Your half brother is only fourteen years old. He's in a hostel. You want him to study at London University and the best school in the world. I can arrange it. You have to make the words and I'll fulfill it. Still, you can have two millions of yours. " He said.

        " I don't know what to say. " I genuinely told him.

                It's confusing.

" Two days are enough. " I put the file back on the table, " It's the copy of the original. Keep it. Return it with your decision. Follow me. If I'll make a change in it. I'll let you know this. " He said.

I pushed myself up and held the file in my hands, " I should go home? " I asked him.

" Not tonight. " He denied.

       " W wha.. t " I stopped.

" Breath, I know my words. I'll not touch you. " He said walking away. He stopped in front of another mahogany door. He opened it for me, " You can use this room. I'll be upstairs. " He said.

"Why can't I go home. Indeed, you can't stop me here against my will." I said.

"You said yes to me. I can't allow you because of the media." He said.

I nodded and waited for him to go upstairs. He placed a kiss on my cheek, " Good Night." He strode toward the stairs. He plucked two long treads at the same time to climb the stairs.

I stared at him until he was about to disappear. I felt his eyes on me before turning. I lowered them instantly and walked into the room. I looked around before locking the door.

Take it as a business deal! It was reverberating in my mind.

I told her the dark truth of my life. I was expecting hatred. But she accepted me with all my mistakes. Still, I wanted to make it official. I had asked Agat to help me. • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER SIXTEEN

I hadn't smiled this much before. I could see my world when I looked into his eyes. I hadn't felt loved before. He made me feel. I was here to take my niece. But he took away my heart and gave me every reason to smile, to laugh and to spend life with him. His tears were heart wrecking. I let his pain through his tears, though it was shattering to watch him like this. I let him hold me the whole night, pressing his lips to mine. We slept in each other's arms. I smiled looking at him sleeping. Reluctantly, I extended my hand and slipped in his silky dark hair. I pressed my lips to his forehead. Silently, I slid out of the bed and walked into the washroom. I was in his room. I hadn't seen this part of the house. He never allowed me in before. It wa

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER FIFTEEN

She glanced at me leaving everything behind. There was no worry, tension and fear of losing anything on her face. She thought. I didn't know it. But I knew every move of her body. She was developing feelings for me. I had chosen her for this because I wanted her to be my wife. I was expecting her to hate me, leave me after knowing the truth. But she was still here. I didn't want her to feel for me. She would get nothing but a beast, a broken heart. I wasn't blaming Aly for my heartbreak, but myself. I liked her, she knew it. Still, I was sleeping with other girls instead of talking about my feelings. I did not consider myself a perfect husband like my father and brother. I told her the dark secret of my life in the hope she would hate me and stop feeling for me. I saw respect in he

I began to walk back and forth. His poker face frightened me most. He wouldn't question me about what I was doing here without informing him. The door opened. He peeled off the phone from his ear as his gaze met mine. Slotting his phone back into his pocket, he strode at me. What was hurting him, the thoughts were making my head hurt. I trudged near him. and looked in his eyes, "Chris," I whispered. "Yea," He ignored to look at me and frowned at the piles of the files. I sighed and turned to the desk. I picked them one by one and arranged it on the wooden ranks, "I know. You don't trust in our wedding. But we can be friends." I said. I forwarded my hand to put the last file. He grasped my hand and twirled me, "What are you trying

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER THIRTEEN

I woke up wearing that stupid short silky dress. Tears leaked from my eyes. I rushed toward the washroom and got rid of it. I didn't make breakfast today. I wasn't expecting him to be home. But I heard footsteps and hope raised, forgetting all the torture of last night. He sat down on the chair. I stood up without a word and walked into the kitchen. I didn't want him to go to the office without eating like yesterday. Hurriedly, I cooked for him and served him. I got in the chair and grabbed my coffee again. It was cold and I wasn't bothered. He casually slid his phone on the table and looked at me across the table, "Where's your food?" He asked. "I'm not hungry," I sai

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER TWELVE

He rang the bell. I watched my surrounding, manicured garden, flowers, trees queues on the side of a single road. If Chris thought, I would change my mind after seeing their wealth. He got me wrong. I spun hearing the door creaking. Alyssum was standing in her shorts, her face was sleepy, her hair was in a loose bun, she stared at us for a second with her blue eyes, She smiled at our sight and beamed. She was looking like a cute little girl with bare feet and her smile. My eyes caught a mark on her neck. "Still sleeping!" Chris arched his eyebrows and leaned in to kiss her cheek. My gaze stopped on her throat. There was a slight mark. She blinked, looking up at him nervously and then smiled. I had heard rumours that my husband was in love with her. I didn't believe the rumou

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER ELEVEN

Our mother in law opened the door for us. Her face brightened looking at her grandchildren. She bent down and hugged them at one time. Alyssum and I laughed. I could see the same excitement on Aidan's face too, who remained with his gadgets the entire day. I must say my mother in law was beautiful, "How are you, mom?" She asked. "I have seen my grandchildren. You can see my smile." She grinned. Alyssum laughed, I smiled too. The thing was, I hadn't experienced what being with family felt like. Now I could be confirmed, it was a blessed feeling. She embraced me with the same enthusiasm. I relaxed in her motherly hold. She invited us in. Kids were already in the room and playing on the blanket where

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER TEN

An icy chill ran down my spine. The thought of my mother laying on the bed terrified me. I needed to concentrate on Chelsea. I should tell her that Alyssum wasn't her mother then it could be. I could persuade her to come with me. I should invite Alyssum for Lunch with her kids. I grabbed my phone and called on her number. "Hello, " I recognized her sweet voice. "Hi, Chelsea! I'm your Zara Aunt." "I'm Elsa," She giggled. "How are you?" I started the conversation with a simple question. I heard another voice. She wasn't alone. I didn't have any experience with kids. I was trying my best. I waited for her to reply. "Mom, it's Zara aunt." Then it went silent. "Are you ok?" I furrowe

  • The CEO - my billionaire husband   CHAPTER NINE

PART - TWO I glanced at happy, smiling faces. The wedding was simple but royal one. I couldn't make such arrangements for my wedding. I got married. It didn't seem fair that my sister's one night stand partner was my husband now. My gaze was on Chelsea. My mother and my mother in law…… They were looking at kids and laughing over something. A nurse was sitting on the chair behind my mother. Alyssum's sons, Aidan and Dairo were playing in the background with Renee. She was Victoria and Harris' daughter. Chelsea and Renee were holding a small girl's hand. I didn't know her name but she was Alyssum's best friend's daughter, Becca and Nathan. There were only a few people, almost family. All were rich and businessmen. Chris squeezed my hand. I swivelled and looked at him. His gaze was gi
