CHAPTER THIRTY SIX

Agat accompanied me to my first appointment. My mother in law was already present in the room. She smiled at me, "How are you doing?" She kissed my head and looked at my stomach. It wasn't flat anymore. 

      "We're doing great, mom." I placed my hand on my stomach. 

      She nodded with a smile. I wanted to check on the baby earlier, but I couldn't ask them to hurry. Mom was a doctor and she knew better than me. I had seen Victoria's report. My baby would look like a dot, I guess. 

      Everything was good between Agat and his family. They had seen it on the news channels. 

      I was already wearing a loose gown. I laid on the
