CHAPTER THIRTY TWO

         I sauntered out of the elevator. Branton and his companion were following me. My eyes were looking at only one person. She was sitting in front of the desktop with a little frown. 

       "Becca," I said out loud. 

       "Oh my god!" Her smile replaced the frown. She got on her feet and rushed at me. She hugged me tightly, "What are you doing here? I was going to come to see you at your home." She said as she pulled back her head.

       "I was missing you." I smiled. She held my hand and led me toward her desk. 

       I sat down on the chair. She wasn't going to hear me. So no use arguing with her, "I'm so sorry. I I... My mother was hospitalized. I had to go. She got a kidney transplant." She said with sadness on her face. I did not know anything about her family. She mostly talked about her mothe
