Anna was busy playing with the kids when her phone rang. She had picked it and Daisy’s voice came through. “Did you see the message I sent to you?” her voice had an edge of mischief to it.

“What message is that?” Anna asked, not wanting to entertain her.

Daisy pulled up a smirk. “Oh! You have not checked it. No wonder you seem so calm. A piece of advice... Check it.” With that, she disconnected the call.

Anna hurriedly looked through her messages box and there, she found what Daisy had sent her. Her eyes went wide as she saw the image.

It was her mother. She was taped from her mouth to her legs.

She rushed out of the apartment, not even caring to look at the kids. She got into the nearest stop and signaled at a cab that stopped right in front of her.
