Samantha's POV
It's been two days after Christmas. Adrian managed to cheer me up with a lot of things and I was able to break free from the chains of my thoughts but something else kept bothering me. It was nothing else but the fact that Ryan booked a flight and made reservations for two. Who was his company? Was it the lady he was with at the restaurant? I wondered why I ached to know and I guessed the reason wasn't far-fetched. I just couldn't place my hands on it.
The loud sound from my phone jerked me out of my thoughts. I held the towel around my body in place with my hands as I stood to my feet to get my phone. I grabbed the phone off the bed and I was surprised to see Uncle Mark's name flashed across the screen before it went blank and black.
