Adrian’s POV

“What?” I raised my head to look at the man who stood in front of me. “What do you mean by that?”

He had lowered his head, with guilt written over his face.

“I thought I made the deadline clear so why is this still not ready?” The sound of my hands colliding with the table made him flinch.

If he thought his excuse would make me go lenient on him then he is wrong.
