Chapter 23: Meet Again

Taylor and Talia waited outside receiving the guests who had come for her father's burial to pay their last respect. Most of them especially the ladies would stop and pat her shoulders gently.

Taylor was certain of one thing, her father was a good man and he had built a great foundation and legacy. She was going to continue from there with Talia who was now like a sister to her.

"I'm so sorry Taylor, please take heart. No pressure, you can return back when you're fully alright."

Taylor lowered her head in appreciation. "Thank you so much Mrs Watson. Do say Hi your husband and lovely kids on my behalf."

The lady chuckled. "Oh, I will. Thank you." She walked away.

"Do you really trust that lady? She certainly had eyes on your dad when your mom was still alive. She literally wanted to become your step mom after she died."
