Chapter 23: The Goddess

Nathaniel opened his eyes to find himself in a majestic forest with tall giant-sized green trees. Above him, bright-coloured birds chirped, welcoming him with their melodious tunes. The surreality of his surroundings prompted him to take a step further, arousing his curiosity.

From what felt like minutes ago, he was in the Ancients’ Cavern with Alyssa Dawson, hoping to discover the hidden secrets of his village tribe that his grandmother had strived to keep him away from.
