Tiana's POV

I didn't stop until I reached the executive floor. I walked straight into my cubicle, my heart still racing as I paced about the room, staring blankly at Seth’s closed office door. I could barely breathe, waiting for the sound of the elevator doors, waiting for my inevitable punishment.

When the elevator finally chimed, I rushed out of my cubicle and anxiously waited for Seth to appear. I swallowed the hard lump in my chest when I sighted him, his tie was loosened slightly, his hair appeared messy and his face was the picture of lethal calm. He looked like he had just finished delivering a death sentence to Theo, my heart leapt in my chest because I knew I was next.

"Seth, I'm really sorry about Theo's behaviour. I had no idea he was going to do that, he just called me during lunch and told me he has a surprise for me." I immediately started to apologize as he approached me.
