It was around 11 am and Athena was engrossed in typing away some important emails which Kevin had instructed her to send. She finished the last email and withdrew her hands from the computer while stretching her arms. She let out a yawn and shook her head to get rid of the sleepiness. Chapter 22 After taking the black coffee mug filled with black coffee, Athena carefully made her way toward Roman's cabin. She knocked two times as usual before making her way inside. Behind the black mahogany wooden desk, Roman was sitting quietly while typing on his laptop. He was wearing a black shirt along with a grey suit. Athena also noticed his grey blazer hanging on his chair. His whole focus was on the computer's screen. Among the heavy pouring rain, Athena ran aimlessly on the street while desperately looking for a place to stay till the rain stopped. She had long removed her high heels which made it difficult to run. After running for a while she found a bus stop nearby and quickly went there. It was empty. It's not like it was too late. After coming back from the hospital, Athena locked herself in her room for the whole day. She didn't even come out to have dinner which made Roman quite anxious.
