Chapter 7~ Meeting her

Claire pursed her lips into a thin line and ignored Oliver’s remark. She returned her attention to the files in her hands and continued going through them.

A thought suddenly occurred to Oliver. He glanced at Felix Brooks and proposed, “Since the meeting is over, how about I treat your team to lunch?”

It was the only way he could interact with Claire since she was adamant about ignoring his existence.

Felix whose forehead had beads of sweat sighed in relief when the billionaire didn’t take offence at his employee’s rudeness. He grinned and answered with enthusiasm, “It would be an honour, Mr Ford.”
