Chapter 15

Reed's POV:

I didn't go back to Dave's villa instead, I went back to Kim's house.

Kim happened to be at home. Seeing how moody I was, she pestered for a reason. After countless questioning, I finally told her the truth.

Knowing the whole event she asked, "Speaking of you grandmother, is she doing this for your own good or setting you up?"

"She's doing it for my own good." I had a positive answer for that. I believed that even if everyone was not doing it for my own good, she was.

Kim nodded, placed her arm around my shoulders, and said, "Well, it's your day today. Let's go. I'll take you to have some good food."

Although I couldn't bear to spend her money, I couldn't stop her.

We chose a hotpot restaurant.

There were not many people in there.

We soon found a place and ordered some hotpot alongside some beer. After rounds of drinking, I didn't seem to be in a bad mood anymore.

We kept having fun till 12 a.m.

Since it's been a while we both went out together
