For the rest of the week, Derek acted as if I was invisible. He walked past me or even pick something up in front of me and acts as if I wasn’t there in any way. It was exhausting trying to not feel the burden of what happened. I should be the one acting as if he was invisible not the other way around. I was sitting on the balcony of my room, watching the flowers while trying to get some readings done. College would resume next week and Scarlet wouldn’t stop complaining about resumption already. It was an impromptu break that I hate so much.
