Chapter 2: Meetup

Holding the hospital bill in her hand, Violet then said goodbye to her mother and left the hospital. She looked at the small change in her hand, it was all Violet's remaining money after paying the hospital bills. Violet sighed and comforted herself:

" It is also fortunate that there is enough money to take the bus if needed. Okay, now I have to find a job, no time to rest."

Violet again rides her old bicycle around Bisi town to find a job, she is in an eager mood and is ready to do anything as long as she can earn a lot of money.

But until the sun was at its peak, and the heat became intense, Violet still could not find a job. This place is a town, but it's just a town that's not too big, so most people don't hire many people. Because of that, a novice and young like Violet was rejected by the shops. Violet frustratedly pitched her bicycle in a shady alley to shelter from the sun. At this moment, she heard the conversation of passersby:

" You have to hurry to catch the train to Reina city."

" This trip I have to get a better job here ten times the salary."

The two passersby were far away, but the information they left behind was extremely useful to Violet. When she heard that the wages were ten times higher than the work in the town, her eyes lit up. So she quickly brought her bike to the hospital and sent it to Emma to keep for her. And Violet quickly ran to the bus station to catch the bus to the city. Fortunately, she caught up with the bus and fortunately had enough money left to buy a ticket to Reina city.

Got into the car with an eager mind, but not long after, Violet began to feel nauseous. Since this was her first time riding a bus, Violet got motion sickness. On the way, Violet did not stop vomiting, she felt dizzy, and her mind was spinning around. Violet had to endure this feeling for almost 4 hours. This is probably the most turbulent trip for her.

After nearly 4 hours in the car, Violet also reached Reina city. Due to severe motion sickness, she had to rest for a while to feel more alert. About a moment later, Violet, after washing her face from the public restroom, came out feeling better, so she quickly regained her composure:

" Money, I'm here to find you!"

Even though she was still tired, for Violet that little bit of fatigue was nothing, she ignored the fatigue and started looking for a job.

Once again, Violet was in an eager mood to find a job, but when she asked for the 10th store, none of the stores would accept her. So again, Violet was disappointed. She lazily walked to the side of the road and leaned her back on the old stone chair and sighed as she looked at the dark sky.

" So that's the end of the day, I still haven't found a job, the truth is not as easy as I thought before, I haven't really thought it through, I don't know what to do tonight, maybe I have to sleep it's outdoors."

" Kok kok kok!"

Violet was muttering when her stomach, which had been starved since morning, made a sound:

" I've been struggling since morning until now, and I've forgotten that I haven't eaten yet, fortunately, I still have a loaf of Mary's bread, otherwise I wouldn't have any money to buy anything else."

After saying that, Violet took the small basket she brought and placed it on her lap, inside there was not much, two sets of clothes, a small water bottle, a loaf of bread, and a few miscellaneous things.

Violet took out the loaf of bread that Miss Mary gave her, and was holding it in her hand before she could eat it when she suddenly discovered a person lying in a dark alley nearby. Violet frowned slightly because she felt that the position that the other was lying in was very uncomfortable, it couldn't be sleeping, it could only be due to fainting on the way.

With a kind heart, Violet couldn't leave the other person like that, so she stopped eating and continued to observe. After approaching, Violet discovered that the person lying in the alley was a young man with a tall body, but his face was dirty and his clothes were somewhat shabby. Just as she had expected the other person had actually passed out because no matter how hard Violet shook him, she didn't wake up.

Seeing that the situation didn't look good, Violet ran out into the street and shouted to ask for everyone's help:

" Help, is there anyone here who is unconscious, who can't help me."

But after a while of shouting, Violet received no help from anyone, she felt a little shiver. Violet didn't think that the hearts of the people in this city were so cold, this was also the first lesson when she went to the city.

Although there were quite a few people around, they were all afraid of getting involved, so they pretended not to hear Violet's pleas for help.

Knowing that calling for more help would have no effect, Violet decided to go back to the young man and carry him to the hospital herself. After struggling for a while, she was able to lift the tall body of the other person.

With each heavy step Violet was walking straight in one direction, fortunately, when she applied for a job, she also saw a hospital nearby. However, it is close, but for a petite girl who still has to carry a large young man, it is quite overwhelming.

Although it was a bit late, Violet finally brought the young man to the hospital, her mouth was continuously panting, and her shirt was also soaked with sweat. Thought he could go to the doctor, but Violet was kept by the nurse because the patient was unconscious and had to have relatives to take care of her, so she couldn't go like that.

Suddenly, an unexpected thing happened, Violet reluctantly stayed for someone she didn't know.
