It was Susan's phone. She turned around and picked it up on the dining table. Seeing the caller, she felt conflicted but answered it anyway.

“Pete, it's alright. I saw you driving out of my house and wanted to ask if you saw Andrew but he's here,” Susan spoke plainly. There was no hint of the sadness and betrayal she felt earlier. She just wasn't destined to be with a man and Andrew just proved it.

Pete had been spying on Andrew, when he decided to not hang up the phone. He didn't know that Andrew would be in such a mess. Since Andrew had promised to help him after he did the right thing, he also thought of how to get Andrew out of the mess he was in.

If Andrew revealed himself right now, he would be too busy to help him out. At the thought
