8 - Love makes us do foolish things

When Andrew stepped out of Susan's bedroom, she swallowed a lump in her throat, while she wondered if keeping a guy as attractive as Andrew in her house was a wise thing to do. He looked ravishing in the white shirt and black pair of trousers she picked for him. She couldn't help it when the words left her mouth,

"You look good."

"Thank you very much for buying all that stuff for me," Andrew genuinely said. It was great having someone who wasn't his mum, dad, or Greg care for him so much. Susan didn't want his gratitude to get inside her head. She made a promise and was bound to keep it.

"You are working for it, remember? No need to thank me."

Andrew was still grateful. The things she bought for him were expensive but not the luxury brands he usually patronized yet, the fact that it was from Susan felt like it was the best luxury brand he ever wore. "So where are we going?"
