Achilles POV

A hit. How ironic. This bastards didn't know we were coming for them. This wouldn't be the first time a hit has been put on me before, but this was the highest.

I had to do damage control quickly.

“So, yeah. They have put out something on your head. I don't know if it's because of the daughter or because we tore down their business,” X says. He has called me almost immediately he heard the news.

“Fuck. They moved fast. They are scared I guess, the whole Giovanni thing last year was crazy.”

Giovanni had tried to be out friend last year. He was a mayor, said he could help us if we invested in his political ambitions.

May his godforsaken soul rot in hell.

“They don't know why we are after them yet. And we have Lyla. We could counter their hit,” X replied. That was true.

I had the numbers of every important man in the underworld, it was imperative that I did. My computer guy, Ethan was the sharpest tool in the whole country. After hacking into the CIA, he casually left a video where their boss was fucking a drugged up prostitute for them in warning. I copped him after that, offering him more money that he had ever seen.

“I'll see what I'll do to pass a message.”

I ended the call with Xiomar and put a call to Rafael Russo.

“Hello, how do you have this number?”

“Hello Mr Russo. I don't believe we've had the pleasure of meeting before.”

We had. Once. I barely paid the old man a glance. He survived on his father's legacy and the man was a real piece of shit. Loyalty was strong if not, a lot of his men would have left him weak.

“You bastard. You killed my daughter.”

“Oh, Mr. Russo, do not make hasty accusations. Did you see the dead body?”

He paused at that. “No. But you blew up the place.”

“Well, yes I did. I felt like making a statement. I do not have a problem with you. Although, I am curious as to why you are trying to form a connection with my enemies.”

There was a quiet tussle and then someone else spoke.

“Hello, Achilles.”

Good. Just the man I wanted.

“Donovan. Hello.”

“Can I ask why you displayed such violence towards our families yesterday. You killed my brother and his bride.” He said cooly.

“Donovan. You bastard. You thought you could run away from what you did forever. I will make sure I hunt you.” I replied, making sure he got my message. He could pretend like he didn't know what he did but that was alright. It would be the last words he heard.

“Please, we could have a simple conversation. There seems to be a misunderstanding.”

There was no misunderstanding. The voice recording. The pleasing. The sounds of my mother and sisters getting blown up.

There was no misunderstanding at all.

“I have your daughter Mr Russo.” A sharp sound came from their end while Donovan let out a little curse.

“What do you want?”

“For starters, call of that stupid hit you put on me. You really thought I wouldn't find out?” I was irritated already with this conversation.

“Please, return her—” I hung up.

Anything the Russo family had to say was rubbish anyways. I really wanted to kywhy exactly he was trying to build a connection to them. They had always been opposite sides and nothing binds two families together the way marriage did.

They might as well have sworn an oath.

“I need a drink,” I took off my jacket and hung it across my chair. The large bar I had in my office was mostly for business and I made sure not to indulge in such frivolities at work.

Lyla might be a problem. I knew the Russo's would want her back but I didn't want to let her go.

“Fuck this madness.”

Donovan was acting like he didn't know his crimes. Like he didn't laugh as he raped my sister. It was worse that they died, we never knew how terrible their deaths were. Not until yesterday.

The call had come to Emilio's phone. “I know who did it,” the person said, then sent us the recording. It was brutal to watch, Xiomar had thrown up so violently, while Emilio was just silent. He ended up crashing out later though.

“I need a drink,” I sigh to myself. The day was going sourly and it was all because of the girl my brothers couldn't just let me kill.

So what if she has been on my mind for the last seven years? I groan and pick up my phone, calling the one person that could help me now.

“Leilani,” I say as she picks up. “Hi, stranger,” her sultry voice responds. “Leilani, I need you to come to my office in 10 minutes.”

Leilani was my lady friend of the season. Tall, hot, slender. We met at a ball, where rich silly politicians pretend they wanted to donate something to a cause. She was holding an old man, her sugar daddy of the day, she said. We left together and have been close since then.

Close meaning I call her, she comes and we fuck.

My attraction to her is simple. She wears the pink lipstick shade that mimics Lyla's lips, her hair is long, not as long as Lyla's though and she wears it straight. It's enough for me to pretend.

“I'm on my way, sir” I hung up the call. The empty glass on my desk stares at me.

“Fuck it,” I sigh, rising up to get a shot of whiskey. My secretary knew Leilani, practically everyone in the office knew she was my mistress so there was no need to give her clearance to come up. She'll be searched of course and my office has been designed to alert and scramble every technologies that could be used against me.

Before she came though, maybe I should give myself a little relief.

I unzip my slacks, a wild rush of blood going to my head. When I pulled out my cock, the groan that came out from my lips seems feral.

I started stroking my duck, facing the city and imagining Lyla in front of me. She comes into my office, smelling innocent and yet like a sin. She kneels before me, taking out my cock with her hands while her eyes beg me for permission.

I stroke faster, harder, tighter. She has her lips around my dick now, her tongue circling the tip. I imagine her in that little white towel she tied on this morning, how if she had bent a little bit, I would hav seen her pretty little—

I come loudly, streams of sperm hitting the window pane. “Fuck,” I stare at it. Maybe I'll have Leilani lick it before I actually fuck her.

That is if I can.

Xiomar POVLyla Russo. She looked even better than what we had heard. Everyone had talked about her,she probably was clueless as to how much of a celebrity she was. I mean a powerful don daughter no one has ever seen? She was a golden egg.I have touched Lyla Russo. Twice. To be honest, the first time, I was sane then. I was dedicated to my craft, and all I saw was a teenage girl that has so much issues and she wanted the exact tattoo my brother has on. She didn't know it was family insignia but yeah, somehow, we collectively agreed to mark this girl as a Draghi. I mean all she had to do was to brag to a few friends after about her cool fire breathing tat.Today I touched her again. I ran my hands over my hair, gripping the steering of my Mercedes-AMG G 65 till my hands physically hurt.I needed to let out this steam quickly. Why did she have to be beautiful? Why did she have to look at me that way, and the sound that came out from her when I manhandled her?I had already promised mys

  • The Captured Mafia Bride   CHAPTER EIGHT

Achilles left the kitchen before everyone else did. I purposely played with my food, ignoring the presence of the people around me. “Did you touch me last night?” I asked.Emilio snickered. Xiomar just ignored my question and I was getting sick of being ignored. “I am asking you. Did any of you touch me last night?”“Watch your tone.”Katarina has left us, saying she had things to go pick up from some room. I figured it was an excuse but I still resented the fact that she left me with them.“Touched you how pretty bird?” Emilio asked, placing his hands underneath his chin while staring at me.“Someone came on me.”That made him whistle. “And you know what cum is how? I thought all the daughters of Mafia were innocent brainwashed virgins”, his eyes gleamed with mischief.I was innocent, but I had done my own research. I didn't answer him him, just raised my head up from my plate and stared into his blue eyes.“If you were the one that touched me, I would cut your fingers off.”I didn

  • The Captured Mafia Bride   CHAPTER EIGHT

Lyla POVI opened my eyes slowly, adjusting to the ray of heavy sunlight that filled the room from the large window. My head hurts, but not as much as it had after papa would hit me.Yes, my father started hitting me.I mean, I had embarrassed him. I avoided his hits but some of them would knock me out cold. Most of the hits were because I was trying to protect my mum from him.My mouth tasted bitter, and I was certain I was bruised all over.I sat up gently, trying to access the wounds I may have in my body. That was when I felt the stickiness between my thighs.“No, No, questo non può essere,” I muttered under my breath. These men were savages, I already knew that. But raping me?I put my hand between my thighs, feeling the stickiness and bringing it up. It was white, I thought, examining it. It wasn't red. Had they defiled me?Someone had cut my gown off my body in the night. Very carefully, making sure to remove all the extra layers. They didn't even nick me a bit, which was imp

  • The Captured Mafia Bride   CHAPTER SIX

Emilio POVHer eyes remained close as I took her up the stairs, the wedding gown she had on covered with dust and blood. She smelt horrible, it made me giggle. Like sweat and blood. The room I selected for her was big, with the view facing the lake we had. Something to remind her of the world she'll never set her feet in again.I opened the door gently, making sure that it doesn't make a large thud behind me. She'll probably wake up with a headache tomorrow, I wondered if she has been knocked out before. After placing her carefully on the bed, I stood and stared. She was breathtaking. Her long curly lashes. Red defiant lips, arches fluffy brows. The make up she has on her seemed to sharpen her edges, although I still remembered how beautiful she looked without it.Taking my knife from my pocket, I begand cutting the wedding gown from her body, methodically. The large train, the veil. I left only the corset, because I liked how high it lifted her breasts. I wanted to touch them.Groa

  • The Captured Mafia Bride   CHAPTER FIVE

Kill his brother and kill our other enemy, Russo. You know, a one stone, two bird kinds thing. However, it seemed they knew we would come. I couldn't have that, people being able to tell my moves. I mean, they knew the AXE would come for their heads as we found out what they did but I loved to be silent about things.More importantly, we were meant to have no witnesses.Everything started going left when Emilio decided he couldn't be patient enough to wait for our men to come. I mean,we had been investigating these crimes against us for years, finally decided it and his blood was hot. I get it.He still rushed though.
