He Misunderstood

Far from Paradise, on the president's victorious ship, a barefoot Hylas was running to his room seeking privacy.

He hoped that no unlucky man would be off the deck after he ordered them to feast until the next day, that man would surely face all the wrath that he had built up inside of him right now.

Hylas had made a grave mistake that led him to this run of shame, he had trusted the witch's deceptiveness when she announced that she was to be out for the entire night.

This caused him to lower his guard and prevented him from anticipating how a body of a woman, even a fake one, was so bewitching, that he had gone through an episode of temporary madness.

'Madness is what that was and nothing short of it'

He was sure that her electricity was no more when he first started pouring the dark thick tar over her, but when madness took over, he failed to recognize when she got plugged in again, he let her seduce him into kissing her not so long after.
