Chapter 11

Jason ran out of his office when he saw me dragging my bags to the elevator.

"Lexi where are you going to?" He asked with a shaky voice. He was standing in front of the elevator door

"I'm leaving"

"To where?"

"That is none of your business"

"I'm your husband"

"For now" I replied. My heart ached when I said this and I almost broke down in front of him. I looked at the diamond ring in my hand and looked at Jason. He promised to be faithful to me. "Be expecting my divorce papers"

"Lexi please...I'm working on this"

"There is nothing you are working on Jason. All what you have to do is to tell me the truth and I'm going to forgive you. I forgave you the first time"

"I didn't do it. That wasn't me!"

"Excuse me. I'm done with the lies"

"Lexi please..."

"I can't stay under the same roof with a cheater and a liar"

"Let me pass"

"I need more days. I'm working on this" he said desperately
