Two months later

I resumed at the office on Jada's last day at the office.

Jason wasn't happy with the fact that Jada was resigning but he could do nothing to stop her. Jada's mind was made up

"We will miss you" I said to her as I hugged her

"I will miss you too. Make sure to watch out for Jason because he is one of a kind"

"Of course, I will" I released her 

"I will bring the files that I'm working on here before I leave"

"Okay" she walked out of my office and I headed to Jason's office.

The main reason why I resumed today was because Jason wanted me to talk Jada out of resigning but I didn't.

Jason was on a call when I stepped in, so, I decided to come back later

"I will talk to you later" Jason said to the person he was speaking to and hung up the phone "So, what did she say?"

"Her mind is made up Jason. Let her go. I didn't talk to her about it"

Jason sighed and looked at me worriedly "She's the only person that I trust after you"

"The job interview is tomorrow and I'm sure that you will recruit someone as good as her before the end of the day"

He nodded and I walked out of his office to mine in order to start my job for the day.

Some minutes later, someone came inside my office and I looked up from the file that I was going through

"Hey Cynthia" I said and got out of my seat in order to give her a hug

"You didn't tell me that you will be resuming today"

"It wasn't planned"

"It's nice to have you here again"

"Thank you"

She scanned my office for almost a minute before asking "And where is Maxwell?"

"Home with his nanny"

"Okay. I have to go now"

"Okay. We will meet at lunch"

"That is if your hot husband let you go. That man can do nothing without you"

"Reduce your voice" I whispered to her "He is in the next office"

"It's not a secret"

Jada came in at that moment with two boxes which were filled with files and dropped it at one corner

"I will be expecting you at lunch" Cynthia shouted as she walked out of the office

"Everything is here" Jada said while pointing at the boxes

"Okay Jada. Thank you"

"You're welcome"

I went back to the file that I was working on when she left until it was lunch break

My phone rang, it was Cynthia and I picked it up 

"Hello" she said

"Hello" I replied

"Are you still coming for lunch?"

"Yeah wait for..." 

A hand reached out for my phone and I fell out of my chair in fear.

"She is not coming" a familiar voice said and I looked up to see Jason standing inside my office, with my phone placed on his ear

I got up angrily and took my phone from him "This is no longer funny"

"It is. Your anger turns me on wifey" he smirked and tried to kiss me but I moved away from him. 

"I'm sorry" he said when he realized that I was really mad at him "I just wanted you to spend your lunch break with me"

"It's okay"

"Kiss me if you mean it"

Jada walked-in on I and Jason kissing each other and apologized before she ran off

Jason released me and rushed after her 

"Jada" he called "What do want?"

"I just wanted to drop the keys" she replied.

"Okay" he said slowly and walked back to his office without saying another word. He thought she was here because she have changed her mind

"Jason is really mad at me" Jada said when she came inside my office

"Yeah he is" I told her "You're one of the few people that he trusts"

She smiled and looked at me "I know but I just have to move on"

"I wish you all the best" 

She dropped the keys "And you too"

She passed through the adjoining door to Jason's office, said her bye and left

After she left, I walked into Jason's office to see him pouring himself a glass  wine.

"Wine?" He asked

"Yeah" I replied as I was walking to one of the chairs that was facing his

He handed me a glass of wine and walked to his seat. 

"I know why she's leaving" he said as he took a sip out of his wine

I raised an eyebrow and asked "Why?"

"Because she loves me" he replied with a shrug

Wow, so Jason knew all along that Jada loves him. I thought

"So, you knew?"

"I'm not blind. I've knew since the first day I met her. She was the one I planned to marry before I met you. But then you showed up and I couldn't get enough of you" he thought about something for some seconds and asked "And how did you know?"

"She told me herself" I smiled at the memory "She threatened me that she was going hurt me if I ever hurt you again"

"Sounds like her. When was that?"

"When you brought me back here"

"Those are days that I want to forget forever" Jason said sadly

"I'm sorry for causing you so much pain"

"It's in the past. I know you will never leave me again" he gave me an intensed look and said "Or will you?"

I shook my head, got out of the seat that I was sitting on and slowly walked to where he was "Never" I replied and gulped down the rest of my wine

Jason eyes lit up when he realized what I was up to and he also gulped down the rest of his wine

"Are you here to seduce me secretary?" He asked lustfully when I pulled up my skirt, revealed my pantsless pussy and slowly sat down on his table with my pussy spread opened in front of him
