Shaila was dressed in baby pink pyjamas, while Mayeli wore a yellow one. Shaila stood behind Mayeli, in front of their large mirror, carefully oiling and brushing her hair.

“Yes”, Mayeli replied to her sister’s question with a puzzled look. What was Shaila planning this time?

Shaila smiled mischievously. She held on to a portion of Mayeli’s thick blonde hair and brushed it until it shone, stealing for time.
