Margret pov

"Victoria," I said her name as she lay on the floor screaming in pain. Oh my god.

I touched her forehead and she was as hot as a furnace, I remember I felt heat on the day of my first shift but it wasn't this intense.

I mind linked David who had gone out to have a father daughter moment with Lily and and after explaining things to him, he was home in no time.

"What happened to her?" he asked handing me lily. I took lily from him and he crouched down checking Vicky up.

"She's burning up," he confirmed standing up and looking at me, "What happened?"

"I don't know, when I went to pick her up from school, she told me that she was feeling extremely hot, and when we reached home, the heat intensified and now this," I explained.

He stood there for a few seconds thinking about something and he said,

"I think she's in heat but she hasn't found her mate yet, has she?"
