Moving out

 Rosa's pov:

I sat back on my chair looking out the window watching the busy street. After giving Kayla her day off I decided to go through the pile of files that Jeremy dropped at my office before leaving. So far he had fired over twenty five employees over pety issues. He made me do double work because currently I was just relaxing after calling all ex-employees and compesate for Jeremy's rudeness, while I offered back their jobs to those who still had not got employed.

It was currently two in the afternoon,I skipped lunch just to get done with all the work I had at the office.I also made few phone calls one of them being a moving company. It was time for me to go back to my home, yes I was moving in with Ella.

We agreed to move out tonight from Eight at night.I didn't want to create a fuss considering anyone in that neighborhood would recognise my pale face and grey eyes.Everyone believed that am dead,so me showing up would ruin my plans.

Thinking of where to eat my stomach grumbled.I decided to order in and just eat in my office as I get done going through the interns file.I wanted to hire the interns so I have to go through the files and know where to place each one.I had different departments, some for sewing and draping, others at the marketing departments while others deal with financial statements for the company.

After informing Ella I would be moving in tonght, all she said was.."It is about time, been lonely in that big house."her words but her face gave no emotion.Well if it was someone else you would think she was grumpy, but like I said am good at reading peoples emotions and she was enthusiastic about it.Behind the innocent looks, was one lethal human who had gone through so much.

I met Ella as I was on my run after the fire,I had no where to go and my family lived few hours from here. She took me in just for a few days but the moment our eyes met its like I was seeing myself in her.A broken girl who needed to find a little bit of solace.A girl who wanted to be listened to and voice out her opinion, and right there I knew I would trust her.She gave me comfort while I was battling with grieve and betrayal.

She asked me why I never called my relatives to let them know that I was alive, but I knew the moment I call them the arsonist who happened to be my ex-fiance would get a wind of it.The fire was all over the magazines and tabloids.I kept the magazines about the Arson.Lawyer Giovanni and his family dies in a fire. That was the heading of all the magazines attached a photo of our burned house, more like the remains that was not ashes.Below they attached our family potrait and thats how the world knew I was dead.

I watched from a distance as my family lowered three empty caskets in the ground from a distance as Ella tried comforting me.Its not easy losing a parent and Ella knew this since her father died in a car crash as her mother overdosed herself due to grieving six months later.Thats when Ella dropped off college to mend and feed for herself. When we met she was just working at a coffee shop earning less for the both of us.

A soft knock startled me,I didn't notice I was playing with the locket my mother had given me.It was a habit of me to play with it as am in deep thoughts.

"Come in,"I said

Ella walked in with my bags of chips, while picking few out munching on them.

"So what is the plan?"Ella asked.

This made me raise one of my brows confused about what she is asking about.

"I walk in and you are playing with your locket, the only time you play with your locket is when you in deep thought or when you miss your parents, but am gonna take first because you rarely show emotions especially based on personal affairs in public,"she said proudly taking a sit infront of me.

Ladies and gentlemen let me introduce to you the only human that can read me past my emotionless face.I knew how to hide my emotions off my eyes.If someone would try to read me they would just meet cold grey eyes or dead eyes. The rage I was carrying plus my cold eyes is equal to a lethal combination.Ella knew what I was capable at the same time she was that one person I can't lie to because she would detect the lie from afar.

"I think its time I invite my family over and let them know have been alive,we know how happy they would be to see me especially Nonna,"I said with an exhausted sigh at the end.

"Why dont we talk about this tomorrow in the morning after you move in,"she said.

Her off all people know how my nonna means to me,but I agreed to do that.

"Do I have to come to your house we pack after work?"she asked while stealing one of my fries.

"No,all I need are my clothes which we both know its not much since it was my disguised look the moving company are just going to carry few necessities considering the apartment is still mine, there are times I would need to go back,"she just nodded absentmindedly as I eat mt last fry.

It was currently four in the evening so I grabbed my water bottle taking a sip, with my Estelle Couture designer bag with me I left the office with Ella walking towards her office.Taking the private elevator I knew rumors had already spread all over the company about me being the CEO.I know it was unexpected but for once I felt complete and myself.I didn't hide or have to act in cowardness towards the people who once looked down upon me.

My mother was right,I am Queen and all I had to do was  fix my crown and show everyone who I am.Walking out of the lobby I would see people watching me in awe as others talked in hushed tones.I could see a grinning Ella outside the big windows I don't even know how she got out that fast.

It didn't take much I was getting in my car waving goodbye at Robby as I exited the company to go back and move out.I had a tiresome day yet its not close to being over.

Getting home I went straight to shower as I changed to something comfortable, grey sweatpants and a big t-shirt.I didn't have much to pack and soon I heard the bell ring.

"Hi,you must be Marie,we are here to help you with moving out,"he said

"Yes James, come in please,"I said while reading his name tag. They got in and carried most of the stuffs, and in no time we were on our way to my new home.

It didn't take long considering I didn't live that far. After dropping the luggages at their respectful places I paid giving them a tip and waved goodbye.Ella squeled jumping on me hugging as if I was gonna vanish the next minute.

The saying there is no place like home is right. Now its when I noticed how homey this place was,I missed this house, well I turned it into a mansion but still it gave me solace just being here.
