Family reunion

Rosa's pov:

It was friday,which meant both Ella and I won't go to work tomorrow.It was around 9:00pm,an hour later after unpacking.Ella decided that we should just chill and watch netflix and thats what we are currently doing.

The ping from the microwave had Ella run to the kitchen,I just laughed at how childish she is.Old habits die youngShe always had some type of fetish towards popcorns or I can say obsession.She came back with a bowl of popcorns grinning while looking at them,how cute.

"Ella,I was thinking of hosting a family dinner tomorrow at six in the evening,"I said turning to her.

"Its fine by me,but what technically do you want me to do because we all know you can't contact them out of the blues,Belle you are supposed to be dead,"She other than my parents was the only person who called me Belle,and I loved it because I always considered her my sister.

"I want to let them know am alive,you just have to contact them tonight and let them know they are invited for a masked dinner party hosted by Ella James,you,it would be best if you do that now because most live far.Also let them know they will stay in a near by hotel,I will pay for the rooms too."I told her while pausing the movie as she does as I say.

"Also invite William too,"I said with no emotion.This made Ella turn and look at me as if I have grown three heads.

"Are you sure you are ready to meet him after everything you went through?"Ella asked being cautious with me,you would think she is handling a baby.I know she is concerned about me because of how I became a total mess because of him.She saw how I cried myself to sleep because of my parents death.Also she saw how I was for few months due to the betrayal from the closest person I had.

How would you feel when your fiance throws you into a pit of fire and light it up again just to watch you burn?It wasnt easy but I pulled through,no,Ella and I pulled through.Right now I needed to see his reaction when he notices me alive and healthy back in the place he never expected me to be.

"Yes Ella,am sure,"I said stuffing my mouth with popcorns.

Ella sent every single person in my family an invite.How did we have their contacts?Well I kept tabs on them at the same time I had Ella be in good terms with them since this was once their deceased relative piece of land.They never met but whenever they did they would catch up over the past time.

It wasn't long they all responded saying they will be here.That was all I needed to lighten up my moods because I knew tomorrow I would be seeing my family but mostly,my nonna.She was the most sweetest person I knew and very loving.

"Ella we need to get sleep because tomorrow we have a long day ahead,"Ella nodded as we both went to bed.

I was startled by the lights only to turn and realize the sun was already up.I didn't even have the energy to do my normal work out ruotine,so I just took a shower changed into leggings and an oversized t-shirt then went downstairs.

Smell of coffee hit my nostrils as a sleepy Ella was sitted on the kitchen counter watching the maid flip pancakes.We rarely have the maids around but today they had to come make the food for the masked dinner.Grabbing a mug full of black coffee I dragged Ella to help out with the preparations.It wasnt something much but we were done by 2:00pm.

We had four hours till the guests starts arriving so we did what we do whem free,sat on the bed and gossip.We didnt realized time had run,we both sprinted to shower after picking our outfit.

Ella did my make up as usual giving me a smokey eye,while she curled my black hair.There were few similarities between Ella and I we both had black hair and same eye color but we never looked alike,no.Most people used to ask if we related we would say yes considering I view her as my sister but we arent blood related.

"Damn girl you look so pretty,"she said twirling me around.

"Have you seen yourself,you really are outgoing with the satin dress and the nude make up,"I said to her.

The bell rang and bella took her mask as she sprinted downstairs to welcome my family.Few minutes passed and my phone showed I had a notification,it was a text from Ella."Everyone is here avail yourself now."the message stated.

Was I nervous ?No.Was I scared?Quite the opposite.With one last deep breath I wore my mask as I left my chambers.Walking down the stairs all eyes were on me,I made eye contact with William as I smirked at him.The house was quiet,pin drop silence as they all gave curious looks of who I was.Me being the most dramatic human,thanks to Ella,I stopped at the middle of the stairs.Looking down from where I was,I slipped of my mask keeping eye contact with WIlliam.

"Long time no see,family."I grinned at the startled crowd.

And with that the wine glass fell from William's hands shattering into pieces.
