Natalie immediately exploded in anger when she saw Sean. “You worthless son-in-law! Useless trash! It’s been more than seven years, are you going to keep leeching off my daughter forever? I’d rather raise a guard dog than keep you! You can’t even take care of your own child. Truly useless!”

“So many men have pursued my daughter, all of them outstanding. I don’t know what kind of spell you used on her that she ended up marrying you!” Natalie shouted furiously, then turned to Mega. “Listen to your mother. Divorce this loser immediately. Don’t waste your time on a piece of trash like him!”

“That’s right, Sis, I agree!” Jennie looked at Sean and continued, “The medical expenses for Andin these past few days have drained all your savings, but has he ever taken out even a little of his own money? This person can’t even be called a man! I heard your superior, Khair Alfarizky, is interested in you. You’d be much better off with him!”

Normally, Mega would step forward immediately to stop her mother and sister after hearing such words. But now, she still hadn’t opened her mouth. She was deeply disappointed in Sean.

A man who still had hands and feet, yet made no effort to move forward. Even if he only worked as a security guard, Mega wouldn’t have minded. But when their child was seriously ill, he went out instead?

Did he still have a heart? Did he still have any sense of responsibility?

At that moment, a nurse came over, looked at Sean, and said, “The total unpaid cost is around three hundred million. If you don’t pay today, the hospital will stop providing medication to the patient.”

Without waiting for Mega to speak, Sean nodded and said, “I will pay the f*e today.”

Sean glanced at his child lying pale and asleep inside the patient room. Other than heartache, there was nothing else he could feel.

“Hurry up. If you haven’t paid by this afternoon, the medication for the patient will be stopped,” the nurse said coldly, looking down on Sean.

After the nurse left, Natalie shouted, “Bastard! You? Daring to say you’ll pay today? Do you want my daughter to go begging people to borrow money? Absolutely shameless!”

Jennie rolled her eyes and said to Mega, “Sis, on the way here, I already contacted your superior, Khair. He should arrive soon. With Khair here, Andin’s problem will be solved.”

Mega was just about to speak to Jennie when the sound of footsteps came from behind. The man was Khair Alfarizky, over thirty years old, dressed in a very elegant manner. He was the CEO of Arthaguna Group, and also Mega’s superior.

Sean didn’t care much about it, because he was also an employee of Arthaguna Group. The only difference was that Khair was the CEO, while he was merely a security guard responsible for guarding the entrance. Seeing Khair arrive, Sean frowned.

Khair ignored Sean completely and greeted Natalie and Jennie. He then looked at Mega gently and said, “Mega, Jennie briefly told me about Andin’s condition. Andin is such a cute little girl, yet she’s suffering from illness. It really makes people feel sorry for her. Why didn’t you tell me about this?”

Mega spoke softly, “I’m sorry, Sir. I didn’t want to trouble you with my personal problems.”

“You don’t need to be so reserved with me. You’re my subordinate and also a fairly good friend. If I can help you, I will,” Khair said in a slightly reproachful tone. “I heard from Jennie that you still need to pay hospital fees. How much is the total?”

“Three hundred million,” Jennie answered first.

Khair smiled and said to Mega, “In that case, I’ll help you settle it all. Consider it a loan from me. It’s a small matter, you don’t need to worry.” Khair glanced at Sean with a look of contempt.

To him, Sean was nothing more than a security guard in his company. How could someone like that possibly match Mega, who was so beautiful? Khair had long been interested in Mega. Her beauty was enough to attract any normal man.

It was impossible for Mega not to understand Khair’s intentions toward her. She really wanted to refuse, but when she looked at her daughter lying in the hospital room, she didn’t dare to reject his offer. Sean sensed Khair’s eager gaze toward his wife.

He said angrily, clenching his fists, “No need. I will pay this three hundred million myself.”

Then Mega became furious. Her eyes turned red as she shouted, “Sean, this is our child’s life! Don’t you love her life? We have no money left. Now Mr. Khair wants to lend us three hundred million, why are you still refusing? Tell me why!”

Sean’s fists clenched even tighter, his nails digging into his flesh. But he felt no pain. What hurt him far more was the feeling of helplessness.

“You really are shameless, Sean,” Natalie said while shaking her head and looking at him with disdain.Mega glanced at Sean Diningrat. She also felt extremely annoyed, but she did not want to scold Sean in front of her family. She merely let out a long sigh and said to Fikri, “Fikri, I’m sorry. I apologize for Sean’s recklessness, and I also thank your father for helping me previously.”“Sister Mega, what you’re saying is a bit too serious. Actually, I didn’t intend to say all this, but brother-in-law forced me. I had no choice but to call my father to prove that what I said was true,” Fikri put on an expression as if he were helpless.Mega did not see Fikri’s hypocrisy at all. On the contrary, she increasingly felt that when comparing her husband to this future brother-in-law, the difference was immediately obvious. They truly could not be compared.“Sean, do you still think that Fikri doesn’t deserve an apology from you?” Natalie asked again.Sean felt somewhat annoyed, but after th

“Brother-in-law, what do you mean? Just because you are useless doesn’t mean others are also incapable like you. If it weren’t for Uncle Fikri’s help, would you have been able to help her?” Seeing Sean doubt her boyfriend, Jennie immediately felt irritated.“Whether I helped her or not is not important. What matters most is whether this person dares to call his father in front of us. Or you can also call Roby and Fathir. I have the contact information for both of them, or should I be the one to call?” Sean said with a cold smile.“Go ahead and call, but if it ends up embarrassing you, don’t blame me for not respecting you,” Jennie said with a sneer.Sean gave a cold smile when he heard Jennie’s words.“Fikri, hurry up and call your father now. Let someone see just how powerful your family is,” Jennie urged.Mega and Natalie also looked at Fikri. Fikri hesitated slightly; he felt extremely anxious. But thinking of his tacit understanding with his father, he decided to take the risk. If

On one hand, it was for her daughter’s own good. On the other hand, if her daughter could marry into a wealthy family, then their family would become more respectable.“I was just joking, Sis. Don’t take it seriously,” Jennie laughed.“Oh right, Fikri, I mentioned this to you two days ago. Was it you who secretly helped my sister?” Jennie suddenly turned to Fikri beside her and asked.“Huh? Me? I, I only mentioned it to my father. I don’t know whether he went to Harrison and contacted the Director to help Sister Mega or not. I’ll ask him when I get back,” Fikri replied hesitantly.“There’s no need to ask. Back then, your father was also the one who stepped in to help us, which was why Martaguna Company gave that business to my mother. This time, it must be your father again. I didn’t expect your father’s connections to be so extensive,” Jennie said confidently.“That’s not an exaggeration. Although my family company isn’t very large, my father’s connections are indeed impressive. Almo

“Wow, Sis, you’re amazing. You’ve only been at that company for one year and you’ve already been promoted to sales department supervisor. It seems your boss is truly wise and knows how to recognize talent,” Jennie praised her.“What ability do I even have, don’t you know that? I was just lucky,” Mega said with a smile. What she said was indeed true. If it weren’t for the mysterious person who secretly helped her win the Harrison project, she wouldn’t have been qualified to be promoted to sales department supervisor.“Mega, don’t belittle yourself too much. Oh right, now that you’ve been promoted to sales department supervisor, your income is much higher. In the future, you must manage your bank card well. Don’t spend your money on useless people,” Natalie said with a hidden meaning as she looked at Sean Diningrat.“Mom, Sean has his own job,” Mega felt slightly awkward. She could naturally hear the meaning behind her mother’s words. She disliked Sean because he didn’t work and used he

At this moment, at the Natalie family home, Jennie looked at Mega and asked, “Sis, is brother-in-law not coming to celebrate Dad’s birthday again this year?”Mega was slightly worried about Sean Diningrat. Before she could respond, she heard her mother, Natalie, say coldly, “Someone as useless as him doesn’t matter whether he comes or not. Don’t let me feel annoyed just by seeing him.”“Mom, he will come. He went to buy a gift,” Mega said with a bitter smile. After Sean’s failed attempt to start a business three years ago, her mother had grown extremely displeased with Sean Diningrat, and Mega had long been used to her mother’s attitude toward him.“He’s a poor man supported by a woman. What kind of gift could he possibly afford to buy? Don’t let that gift embarrass him later,” Natalie said as she turned her face away.“Yeah, the gift brother-in-law can buy is probably only worth a few hundred thousand at most. Unlike Fikri, he gave Dad a belt from a famous brand,” Jennie said proudly

“You wanted to break Young Master Sean’s neck?” After Sean left, Abimanyu stared at Jefri with a serious expression.“B-Brother Abimanyu, who exactly is he?” Although Jefri felt a bit panicked, he still hadn’t realized how serious the situation was.“Do you think someone as insignificant as you is qualified to ask about Young Master Sean’s identity?” Dio snorted. “You only need to know that there are very few people in Bandung who can afford to provoke him.”“Dio, stop wasting words on him. Young Master Sean is already angry. Don’t let Young Master Sean find out that this bastard follows us, otherwise none of us will have an easy life later,” Fahrul said.“What you said makes sense. Oh right, do you know what Young Master Sean meant?” Dio nodded and looked at Abimanyu.“You really have a shrimp-sized brain. This bastard wanted to break Young Master Sean’s neck, and Young Master Sean already said it himself. That means he wants us to break his arm,” Abimanyu said seriously.“Hehe, my b
